Diasppointed when well supported at Haydock last time and finding precious little off the bridle. Stable in form but this looks a tougher test than her previous two starts.

Cost 85,000 gns as a yearling. By Iffraaj out of a dam who has produced three other winners including Sulaalaat and Madeed who were successful as juveniles. Stable are without a juvenile success this term and their horses generally improve for a run.

700,000 gns yearling by Dark Angel and related to several winners including the useful Midnite Angel. Stable's juveniles usually go well around here but the draw makes this tricky for one so inexperienced.
Compton Place filly, half-sister to Secret Talent and dam is a half-sister to Group 1 winners Lady Of Chad and Alcazar. Soundly beaten when third on Newbury debut, however she is a late foal from a family of AW winners so there is good cause to anticipate a better perfomance.

Cst 28,000 gns from the first crop of Dawn Approach. Dam was of little account and has produced nothing of note. Stable's horses tend to improve wih experience.

Stepped up marginally on her debut run when third last time. That looked a weaker race than this and others look more likely.

Looked green when easy to back on Doncaster debut. Did best of those drawn high that day and stable have done well with this age group in 2017.

Cheap purchase who was sent off at 50/1 on her Newbury debut and appears to be aiming too high here.

Has only displayed a modest level of ability in two starts in races which were less competitive than this.

March foal by Medicean and related to several winners including the top-class pair Spacious and Dimension. Stable are just 2-35 with their youngsters this year but worth noting in the market nevertheless.

260,000 gns purchase from the same yard as Verandah. The stable companion has a more appealing pedigree, so worth noting how the market evaluates their prospects.

19:05 Kempton - 9 August 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

This looks a highly competitive race for this track at this time of year. Several nice types line up for this with Final Set the most expensive and representing a yard that do well with their juveniles around here. Her draw makes matters more difficult and VERANDAH looks the more likley of the debutantes based on her pedigree and stalls position. Camomile Lawn has claims back around here and Shaherezada has little to find to be a contender.
  1. Verandah
  2. Shaherezada
  3. Final Set
