Initial handicap mark does not look to be a gimme and he will need to find improvement for the step up in trip if he is to enjoy a repeat success.

Pacific Salt and Caledonia Laird both merit respect, while Wasm is another on the short-list, though he will need improvement to add to his Doncaster maiden win.
