Won one of these (6f, good to firm) at Windsor in June and ran well in a claimer next time, but disappointed in another of those when favourite at Lingfield last time, for which soft ground may have been largely responsible. Should be thereabouts, though is clearly also vulnerable.

Yet to make the frame from seven starts, including the last two in this grade. Not easy to make any sort of case for today.

Well beaten in both starts so far, here on debut and also at Redcar and connections now switch her to this level. Impossible to recommend at these weights on what we have seen.

Improved significantly for her Newbury debut (6f, good to soft) when dropped to 5f (soft) at Lingfield last time. Now swaps novices' company for a seller and this may well prove to be a quick route to success. Interesting.

Modest form in all three novices' auction starts so far, all over today's trip and given that it looked as though handicapping would be tough, she now drops into a seller. Needs to improve to trouble a couple of these but may have frame claims.

€3,000 foal, who sold for €3,500 as a yearling. First foal of a winner over this trip. Grandam a 7f-1m winning half-sister to 1m2f Listed winner Halicardia and fairly useful 5f-6f winner Card Games. Yard not known for debut scorers and this route suggests that she has not been showing too much at home. Check the market.

10/3
Ran well in context in a couple of novices' auction contests on soft ground at Leicester and Hamilton in May/June. Probably didn't get home over 7f when dropped into this grade at Redcar last time, but looks to have claims now tried again over this trip.

Forecasts

Jean Paget (15/8), Tie Em Up Tel (3/1), Time For Treacle (10/3), Sandama (5/1), Silverlight (18/1), Heavenly Pulse (22/1), Angie B (50/1)

13:40 Thirsk - 4 August 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Tie Em Up Tel should be better if the ground is not too soft here, but is vulnerable enough and may have to give best to TIME FOR TREACLE, who has shown good enough form so far to suggest that she can win over this trip in this grade. Jean Paget is an interesting opponent now tried in a seller for the first time, while check the market with regard to Silverlight in case there is any particular confidence in her on debut.
