Goes well here and usually gives supporters a decent run for their money at around this trip. Handicapper gradually relenting and was very competitive from this mark at Lingfield two starts ago, so again likely to be on the premises.
Both her wins were last season over 6f, the turf one being on soft ground. 2lb higher here than he best turf handicap performance so far and therefore will need some improvement for this step up to 1m if she is record a third success.
Won a Chepstow maiden (1m, good to soft) on debut last year and has maintained a similar level of form in four starts since then. Dropped 1lb and tongue strap added since the last of those and should be on the premises.
Came good at the 19th attempt at Chepstow (1m, good to firm) last time out. Raised 2lb for that, which does not rule out a follow-up, but she will need to improve to do so and her CV suggests that there is a doubt about that.
Chasing a hat-trick after success over 7f at both Chepstow (soft) and Newbury (good), the latter on her handicap debut. Raised 3lb for that, but was running on and this step up to 1m is more than likely going to enable improvement.
Consistent filly who has won just the once at Pontefract (1m, good to firm) in June. A 6lb rise for that has accounted for her in two recent runs and a 1lb drop here does not look quite enough to see her come good again yet.
Looked likely to do better when going handicapping, so her first effort in this sphere was no better than average at Doncaster last month (1m2f, soft). The drop in trip may help, but from the same mark she looks to have plenty on her plate.
Initial handicap mark looked stiff enough prior to her debut in this sphere at Brighton (1m, good to firm) last time and so it proved, as she was beaten over 9L. Dropped 3lb but others make more appeal this time.
Forecasts
Madeleine Bond (2/1), Stellar Surprise (7/2), Pattie (9/2), Ventura Blues (13/2), Stosur (8/1), Heartstone (9/1), Lenoire (20/1), Miss M (20/1)
MADELEINE BOND is in cracking form and this step up in trip looks ideal for her to be able to make sufficient improvement to bridge a 3lb rise and complete a hat-trick. Ventura Blues could be another to take a step forward now tried over 1m, while Stellar Surprise can probably emerge next best, with both Heartstone and Stosur respected.
