Best efforts have come on soft ground and he will strip fitter for his run here three weeks ago following a year off. Looks sure to build on that off a more favourable mark against more moderate opposition.

Winner of 11 races but yet to score here on nine previous attempts. Dropped in class and rider/trainer combination are 5-20 at this venue. Generally consistent and handles any ground so expected to be thereabouts.

Form figures are less than impressive but he has previously attracted support. There may be some latent ability waiting to be unleashed and his pedigree indicates this softer ground may help.

16-race maiden who appears better on AW surfaces. Makes debut for a new yard but one with a modest record with horses returning from an absence of at least 90 days.

Both career wins have come in blinkers over 6f at Wolverhampton. The last of those victories came in 2013 and a further layoff since his last outing make him a risky proposition.

Stable have a 14-38 record here in August which improves to 5-8 with last time out winners. Last week's Chelmsford success she is heading in the right direction and a 2lb rise appears generous. Yet to tackle ground as soft as this and relatives have shown their best form on quicker surfaces.

Trainer continues to tinker with distances, surfaces and tactics. Still looks like a horse who has drastically lost his way following a promising start to his career.

Lightly raced individual who has failed to get competitive in low grade affairs including a seller. Makes stable debut after a seven month break and probably best watched for signs of improvement.

16:00 Yarmouth - 1 August 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Sir Mark Prescott has such an impressive record here at this time of year that ANNA MEDICI is hard to oppose. In a race that will take little winning she looks the most likely candidate providing she handles the conditions. Comanche will find this easier than last time and looks set to go close. Charlie Chaplin and Maddys Dream are possibly better than we have seen so far and a market move for either would make them interesting.
