C&D winner who has also scored over 5f here both times with give in the ground so conditions should suit although both his subsequent runs have been poor and he's fairly inconsistent these days.
Still a maiden but has shaped well on several outings this year and looks as though he's getting close to opening his account. Second here over 7f last time out he may well be suited by this 6f trip and generally travels well in his races.
A maiden winner on the AW at Chelmsford last year, he's yet to win in a handicap having had plenty of attempts. Looks to be just ticking over at present and makes little appeal here with a visor replacing the cheekpieces worn on the last four starts.
Her only win came on her AW handicap debut around 18 months ago and her mark has been falling since then on the back of plenty of disappointing performances. Looks out of sorts at the moment and the needs a return to turf to spark a revival having only run on the AW of late.
Only has a Pontefract maiden win to his name over 5f in 2015 and his handicap form after looking to show promise at first has regressed and that's reflected in a falling mark (now down to a career low). Took a step back in the right direction last time out (behind Searanger) in a C&D seller but had the run of the race although probably did too much too soon.
Tough and hardy sprinting stalwart who has returned to form with wins at Brighton and over C&D this season off lowly marks. Not quite at his best in two runs since he won here off similar marks to today and chances are that marks like this are a little beyond him these days.
Now on a losing run that stretches back to October 2015 and was behind a couple of these rivals in a C&D seller last time out. Didn't really show much spark in that run and even off a lowly mark such as this back in a handicap he makes only limited appeal.
Form as a juvenile was fair (won a C&D nursery off a mark of 63) but his form as a three-year-old has been very disappointing and way below anything he showed as a two-year-old.
C&D winner whose last two wins have come at Nottingham over 6f and is now off a 10lb lower mark than that last win. Ran as well as could be expected last time out in a better grade than this and runs off a career low mark here dropping in grade.

Hardly an event to be getting heavily involved in with solid and sound options few and far between although horses like Lackaday and Goadby can be given a chance despite their rather uneven profiles. Searanger at least is in good form and in truth this isn’t any stronger than the seller he won last time out and he has a chance off this mark and remains in good form. CUPID’S ARROW looks just about the only one with any progression in him and is certainly the best of the three-year-olds in the field. The drop to 6f may well suit him and this could be a suitable chance for him to break his maiden.
