Not unfancied for his debut over 6f at Windsor (good to firm) earlier this month but could only manage a modest 7th of nine behind Peggy's Angel. Having cost £85,000 guineas it would be disappointing if there wasn't much more to come.

Unfancied and soundly beaten in maidens over 6f and 7f at Nottingham and Chepstow respectively. Looking like one for handicaps further down the track.

Still a maiden after five attempts but has shown up well in the main, including when a runner-up behind Billy Dylan from a less than ideal draw over 5f at Chester (good to soft) last time. Sets the standard as he steps up in trip.

April foal who is a brother to the 7f/1m winner, Naziba. Recently changed hands for €25,000, having cost less than that as a foal. Market the best guide.

April foal who is a half-brother to several winners, including the smart 1m winner Kool Kompany. Yard going well and, having cost €70,000 as a yearling, he would be of interest if the market speaks favourably.

Cost 50,000 guineas as a yearling but, despite as promising debut over 6f at Lingfield, appeared to take a step backwards over 7f at Chelmsford next time. Yard yet to send out a juvenile winner this year.

May foal who is a half-brother to the 1m6f winner, Azamesse. Dam comes from the same family as the high-class stayer, Yeats. Bred to appreciate further and looks best watched on his debut.

January foal who comes from a decent family. Yard having a good season with its juveniles and, though they tend to come on for a run, she is one to note in this company.

May foal who is a half-sister to three winners, including the 6f/7f scorer Cadimium Loch. Yard not really renowned for juvenile success and others look more likely.

13:50 Chepstow - 20 July 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Of all the runners here, there is is probably most to like about Bezos on paper and it would be no surprise if he was to prove his uninspiring debut performance all wrong. Demons Rock sets the standard on form but is vulnerable to something above average so it may pay take a chance on the well-bred €70,000 yearling MUSIC SOCIETY, providing the market vibes are positive.
