Three time winner including over C&D in a similar race to this back in May. Held in three handicap runs since but worth a check in the market in this contest.

Well held behind Searanger in a C&D selling contest on debut for this yard in May and disappointed when only tenth of 11 over 7f at Musselburgh (good-to-firm) last time.

Failed to trouble the judge in all six starts so far most recently when 37L last over an extended 1m at Nottingham. Wears cheekpieces for the first time today.
Winner off a mark of 54 over 6f at Hamilton (good-to-firm) for previous stable last August. Well held in three runs for this yard in handicap company so far this season.

Forecasts
Manatee Bay (13/8), Searanger (11/4), Bold Spirit (3/1), Spike (12/1), Deben (20/1), Mercers Row (20/1), A Bit Of Ginger (25/1), Roman Times (66/1), Zaytoon (125/1)
A chance is taken on BOLD SPIRIT being granted a soft lead in this selling contest and the selection can follow up his two previous C&D successes by taking this contest. Declan Carroll's charge ran a fair race over this C&D in May and can get the better of Manatee Bay who has placed here in the past while Searanger can claim third under top weight.
