Course record here since the start of 2016 reads; 4,3,2,8,2,1,2,10,1,1,1. In rude health of late winning on his last three visits to this track (7½f x2 and 8½f latest). Up another couple of pounds and should go well. Could have had a better draw.

A ten race maiden on turf, with her sole career success coming on the AW at Chelmsford in June 2016 (maiden). Not competitive in either start this year and needs to show more.

A three time winner for Martyn Meade, and whilst still to strike for this yard is falling in the weights, and was keeping on from off the pace over C&D latest. Outside place claims.

Has taken plenty of racing since winning an AW maiden at Newcastle in November 2016 (regularly placed over this trip). However, looks a shade vulnerable for win purposes having finished a narrow third to Nonno Giulio in a Redcar claimer last month.

Has taken well to Tapeta at Newcastle, winning by a neck over 7f in October 2016, and placed on a couple more occasions including over the straight mile there when a ½L second to Excel Again late last month. Races from a lower mark back on turf, and well placed to exploit that now.

Finding his feet for his new trainer (claimed for 8,000 gns in early May), and a not trouble the front pair third to Mango Chutney at Thirsk (7f good) earlier in the month. Down another 1lb and respected.

Has performed with consistency in each of her last three starts, winning over 1m at Carlisle (beat So It's War) on her penultimate outing. Narrowly denied when bidding to follow up from a 6lb higher mark at Pontefract and almost certain to be involved in the finish this afternoon.

Won a 7f AW maiden in July 2016, but is a seven race maiden on turf, and his course form suggests he's not able to take this contest without a degree of improvement.

Seven time career winner who edged out Kirkham by a neck at Thirsk (7f good to firm) in June, but was beaten by that rival back at the same track earlier this month and also finished six places behind today's rival Major Crispies. Needs to bounce back, but possible with stable going well.

Lightly raced three-year-old who was a ready winner of a 1m Class 5 handicap at Newmarket in May (soft) and showed he handled a faster surface when far from disgraced from a 5lb higher mark back at that venue last month. This trip/track will be a different test.

2013 winner of this contest, but badly out of shape since finishing a short-head second to Venutius over 1m at Ripon in August 2016. Attractively weighted, but tough to fancy until showing some signs of a revival.

Successful from a 3lb lower mark on his final start as a juvenile in a 6f Catterick nursery (good to soft), looking like a step up in trip wouldn't go amiss. Likely to be much sharper for his recent Newcastle return and solid market support could prove telling.

16:15 Beverley - 18 July 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

An open contest in store with the likes of course specialist Talent Scout and the progressive filly Full Of Promise both coming into this race in excellent shape. Whilst never wise to write off the former named at this track, he needs a clear recent best from a difficult draw to figure, but the latter named looks certain to figure prominently in the finish. Market support for Traveltalk could be informative, but a clear preference is for AMOOD. He's taken really well to the Tapeta at Newcastle, but does also have winning form on turf and is undeniably on a good mark on grass; a mark which his trainer should be able to exploit sooner rather than later.
