Exchange Rate colt, cost $180,000 as a yearling and €550,000 as a Breeze-Up purchase. Won his debut in good fashion at Ascot and not beaten far back at that course last time out. Sets the standard on form and may take another step forward for a trainer who has a fine record at this course and won this last year.

Canford Cliffs colt, cost £16,000 as a Breeze-Up purchase and dam won over this trip as a juvenile. Impressive winner at Newbury on debut last month at odds of 80/1 and while he has plenty more on his plate here, it would be no surprise to see him run well. Cheekpieces retained.

Kodiac colt, cost €75,000 as a foal and bought for 110,000 gns at the Breeze-Ups. Unfancied on debut but upset the odds over 6f here last month in a six-runner contest. More needed here though.

Helmet colt, cost 65,000 gns as a yearling. 10/1 winner on debut and form of that race has been franked by the runner-up and third since. Yard do well with their juveniles and no surprise to see him run well again with more progress on the cards.

Elzaam colt, cost 95,000 gns as a yearling and a half-brother to Red Guana. Won easily on debut and had plenty in hand at the finish. Should go well again upped in trip for a yard with a good recent record in the race.

Appreciated the step up in trip on his second start at the Curragh, justifying short-priced favouritism and won with a fair amount of ease that day. Will continue to improve as he goes up in trip but he's a leading player in this regardless.

Built on the promise he showed on debut with a small field win at Leicester last time out but will need to step up on that form to land any sort of blow in this contest.

Very impressive winner on debut but not quite as good on faster ground in a deeper contest last time. Worth giving another chance to for a yard that do well with their juveniles and still completely unexposed.

Leroidesanimaux colt, cost 40,000 gns as a yearling. Did well to finish runner-up on debut at Yarmouth but no match for the winner and form of that contest probably not of the standard required here. Likely to struggle.

Dutch Art colt, cost 75,000 gns as a yearling and 160,000 gns as a Breeze-Up purchase. Won on debut at York and bounced back from a slightly disappointing effort at Royal Ascot with a win at Pontefract last time, staying on well for pressure a fair way from home. Seemingly crying out for this step up in trip and while he's the yard's second-string on jockey bookings, this trainer and jockey combo won this last year.
