Improved significantly for his Ascot debut when stepping up to this trip at Chester last time, sticking on well when headed to finish a ½L runner-up. That is the best form on offer going into this race and he will take plenty of beating.
Was beaten only 1½L despite being sixth of nine on his Lingfield debut last month. The bare form of that leaves him needing a fair bit of improvement looking at some of his opponents here, but he can take another step in the right direction.
33-1 and beaten 5L when sixth of seven over 5f (firm) at Bath on debut. Should come on for the experience and probably also the step up in trip, but will need to make significant strides to get involved at the business end.
Showed signs of greenness on debut at Salisbury (5f, firm) in April, when beaten 4½L. Has been given some time before coming back to the racecourse and that may well begin to pay dividends today. Improvement more than likely and she is respected.
92,000gns foal whose price tag reduced to 43,000gns as a yearling. First foal of a 6f 2yo Group One winning half-sister to Dick Whittington and two other winners, one over 5f as a 2yo, the other over both 6f and 7f. Nice pedigree, though yard not noted for its debut juvenile winners and perhaps best watched first time out.
Improved for her Lingfield debut when a 3L third at Ripon (6f, good) last month. Should be able to continue her upward curve here and it would be no surprise to see her get competitive.
CAROUSE has put up the best performance of any of these so far, when going close at Chester last time and a repeat of that or better would make him very tough to beat here. Sorority is going the right way and should be thereabouts, while the same goes for Highland Mary.
