Has a long string of duck eggs against his name on the Flat, but did show some clear ability for William Muir in 2015/16. Arguably enjoyed his better days for Ian William over hurdles (without winning) and makes his debut for this shrewd trainer looking fairly unexposed on the AW.

His sole career success came over the extended mile at this track in April. However, he remains 4lb higher and has given out mixed messages as to his versatility over this longer trip, so can be opposed.

1m7f winner in France for Francois Doumen (April 2016) but showed little for Gary Moore over hurdles and in a claimer on the Flat. However, claimed for £14,000 and pitched in at the very deep end in the Queen Alexandra Stakes at Royal Ascot on stable debut. Safe to say this is more realistic, but still hard to know what to expect in all honesty.

Netted an AW four timer earlier this year which resulted in his mark climbing from 49 to 71. No problems with track or trip, but probably a shade too high now.

A seven time career winner, but yet to win beyond a mile. Has some placed form over this kind of trip (Windsor in April) but looks rather exposed. Dropped slightly in the weights.

Cost 50,000 gns as a yearling and did well enough in moderate AW maidens during February and March. Not so good over this trip on turf at Leicester in early April, but switches back to the AW for handicap debut. Doesn't appear obviously well treated, yet respected.

Finished runner-up when making her handicap debut over 1m2f at Chepstow (soft) last month. Races off a 2lb higher mark on her Tapeta debut and steps up in trip which promises to suit.

Won a 7½f Ffos Las maiden by a short-head in August 2016, but hasn't shaped like a future winner since handicapping and gradually upped in trip. Finished in mid division at Leicester last month (1m2f good to soft) and stamina looks a concern over this new trip on AW debut.

Built upon an encouraging Lingfield debut when proving ½L too good for Haldaw in a C&D maiden in late April. Given time off to strengthen since, and although the third placed Pondering has eventually won a race since, that form isn't the strongest, so this opening mark is probably accurate enough.

Not ever likely to recoup his €130,000 price as a juvenile and has looked rather limited in ability to date. However, it's possible that he wouldn't let himself down on firm ground on his Bath handicap debut last month, and this surface will be much more accommodating. Dropped 2lb and should stay, but hardly bulletproof.

Ran on strongly to run out a ready winner of a Class 6 C&D handicap on her penultimate start in late May (beat Sir Dylan by 1L). Given a 4lb rise for that much improved showing and not wholly disgraced on turf since. This is tougher (Class 5), but no real surprise if she outruns her odds.

Preference is for the less exposed three-year-old's in a fairly moderate finale, and the lucky pin falls upon MANY WATERS. She has proved her ability on synthetics in maidens (Polytrack) and shaped as if a step up in distance would suit when 3¼L second to Twenty Times on her handicap debut at Chepstow last month (1m2f soft). The third placed horse in that contest (Miss Inga Sock) has won a Brighton handicap since, and a subsequent 2lb rise in the weights for this Andrew Balding trained filly looks merited.
