Interesting debutante from the yard that have the useful juvenile Santry in their ranks. There's some speed in the pedigree and despite to poor draw a market watch is advised on debut.

Price has risen with every sale and cost 80,000 guineas as a two-year-old when bought at the Craven Breeze-Up Sales. Yard are good with sprinters and have had one juvenile debutante winner so far this year from five runners and this one may well be worth keeping an eye on.

Only cost £2,500 as a yearling and he's already been gelded for his debut. There is speed in the pedigree from a stable that can produce two-year-old winners.

Stable are firing with their two-year-olds now after a slow start and this Mayson colt is well-related being a half-brother to several winners. Yard have had a couple debut winners (one recently at Ayr) and from a good draw this one deserves to go on the shortlist.

Hard to say that this stable are noted for their juvenile winners and this one did little to dispel that myth on debut when well held at Carlisle finishing last.

Unless they have a win in the first division of this event the yard are still seeking their first juvenile winner of the season. Debut effort was a moderate one at best at Ripon over 6f and hardly one of the leading contenders here based on that form.
Expensive purchase for this yard (cost €58,000 as a yearling) and is a half-brother to three winners including a couple that won at up to 7f as juveniles. None of the yard's two-year-old debutantes have finished closer than sixth this year although they have all started at big prices and given his purchase price maybe more is expected of this one.

The most experienced in this field but in four runs so far she's shown very little and has been well held in all those starts and much the same is expected here.

Second run for this Dutch Art filly who made her debut over 6f at Thirsk (backed at long odds) but made what can only be called an unpromising start to her career being left behind readily in the closing stages.

Full sister to Orient Class (sprint winner for this yard) but started at 25/1 on her debut at Thirsk over 5f where her lack of experience showed. Looks very much one for later in the season and may come into her own in sprint nurseries of a lowly nature.

Two starts so far of a very similar nature where her inexperience and greenness have very much been in evidence (she also played up beforehand on her latest start). Difficult to recommend one with such a record so far and best watched here.

Forecasts

Rossall (15/8), Emphatic (9/4), That's A Surprise (5/1), Leaderofthepack (8/1), Crazy World (12/1), Magic Ship (14/1), Hermana Santa (16/1), Orient Princess (20/1), Shades Of Mist (25/1), Rue Cambon (25/1), Roundhay Park (33/1), Dark Hedges (33/1)

14:50 Beverley - 8 July 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

This whilst still looking decent enough wouldn’t or doesn’t look as competitive as the first division with those that have run not setting much of a standard and this may be vest left to the newcomers with ROSSALL getting the vote over Emphatic due to the slightly better draw. That’s A Surprise and Crazy World are two other debutantes that are worth noting here particularly the former given his purchase price for this yard.
  1. Rossall
  2. Emphatic
  3. That's A Surprise
