Ballela Boy67
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-12| J: Keith Donoghue| T: G Elliott
16/1
Registering his third win when taking a 2m6f conditions hurdle at Down Royal (good) early last month and now tackles fences for the first time. Few worries with regards this trip or ground.

Black Warrior11
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-12| J: D N Russell| T: C Byrnes
9/2
Talented novice/handicap hurdler who returned from a winter break switched to fences in early May at Ballinrobe (runner up to Rocky Court; 2m1f). On balance slightly disappointing since but should win races over fences but has a point to prove over this trip.

Blessed King359
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-12| J: D J Mullins| T: G Elliott
33/1
Won a 2m7f Downpatrick maiden hurdle (good) by 16L in July 2016, but has been off the track since. Had earlier posted a rather inauspicious chasing debut at Clonmel in June and whilst having time in his side currently has a few minor question marks against his name.

Go It Alonet44
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-12| J: J J Slevin(5)| T: C Bowe| OR:  113
12/1
Point-to-Point and hurdles winner, but not broken his duck over fences yet despite three attempts. A beaten favourite on debut at Limerick in March, he seemed better suited by drier ground when runner up to Baily Moon over C&D recently.

Grey Mountain Mist14
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-12| J: R Loughran| T: E Sheehy| C
100/1
Course winner over hurdles (and also at Ballinrobe in May; 2m4f). Seemingly just held by the handicapper over the smaller obstacles since which perhaps forces connections hand to go chasing for the first time at the age of ten.
Took a small field Point-to-Point in mid May (three runners), but was held in fourth when falling at the second last on his rules debut at Clonmel last month and this looks more competitive.

Last Encounter33
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-12| J: D E Mullins| T: Ms M Mullins| C
12/1
Course hurdles winner (2m4f maiden in June 2015), but never in the hunt on his chasing debut at Kilbeggan recently when fifth of 14 to Conrad Hastings. Raced just once since March 2016.

Master Appeal28
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-12| J: Paul Townend| T: J E Kiely| OR:  127
4/1
A four time winner over hurdles earning a rating of 132 over the smaller obstacles and boasts plenty of fencing experience (five race maiden). That said; produced a clear best over the larger obstacles when just held by ½L by Sea Light at Clonmel last month.

Horse silk
Rathvinden38
Age: 9|  Weight: 11-12| J: Ruby Walsh| T: W P Mullins| BF
6/4
Classy bumper performer who was absent for over two and a half years after finishing a close third of 15 to Faugheen in the 2014 2m5F Neptune at the Cheltenham Festival. Not fluent on his return (chase debut) and given another six months off thereafter, but much more promise when a runner up to Modem at Ballinrobe in late May. Longer trip to contend with which looks a plus.

Strideout Europ,t32
Age: 11|  Weight: 11-12| J: B J Foley(7)| T: Ms M Duggan
100/1
11 race maiden under rules (four time Point-to-Point winner) who holds little conceivable chance against these rivals on his fifth chasing start under rules.

Billy Flight19
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-10| J: J M Moore| T: N Meade| D
33/1
Not an earth shattering fencing debut at Downpatrick recently, but that effort left plenty to work upon for the future. A winner over hurdles at Ballinrobe in May, this youngster looks more of a handicap prospect over fences.
12
Horse silk
50/1
Decisive, but shock winner of a 3m maiden hurdle at Cork in May and whilst not disgraced since hasn't threatened to follow up. Average would be a fair description of his chasing debut at Tramore early last month (sixth of 11) and this race has more depth.

Horse silk
Fly Rory Flyb28
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-10| J: Sean Flanagan| T: N Meade
10/1
Held every chance in second when falling at the second last on his chasing debut at Clonmel last month (race won by Sea Light, Master Appeal runner up), so possibilities granted a clear round. Good ground ideal, and should stay 3m.
14
Horse silk
33/1
Seven race maiden, but did okay when 15L third to Jack Slade on fencing debut at Downpatrick (2m7f+ good). Respected, but others appear far stronger.

19:45 Wexford - 7 July 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Master Appeal and Fly Rory Fly are closely matched on their Clonmel clash last month and granted clear rounds should both run their respective races. Go It Alone should win races over fences and he's already demonstrated that he'll handle both track and ground, but is likely to find a few of these rivals too hot to handle. Black Warrior hasn't quite looked as talented over fences as he was over hurdles, whilst Ballela Boy is on the up and is a mildly interesting chasing debutant. However, the clear talking horse is the once very talented RATHVINDEN. His best days are most likely behind him, but he is unexposed over fences and appears to be crying out for this extra yardage, so his class should see him through against these rivals in order to provide Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh with another winner.
