Won a couple of times for Ralph Beckett, including at this track as a juvenile. Has shown little in two runs for current stable and needs to stage a revival to take advantage of a fair handicap mark.
Last victory came at Redcar in October, since when he has been badly out of sorts, He is back down to the same mark as for that win, but recent form gives him plenty to prove.
Fairly consistent at 7f and a mile for Andrew Balding, but has reverted to sprinting on his last couple of starts for this trainer. Third in a claimer at Ripon last time, he needs to up his game.
Has the habit of running well, including at Nottingham last time, without being able to get his head in front. Consequently, he gets little respite from the handicapper and it may be more of the same on this occasion.
Has won four times in 47 starts on turf and was successful over C&D in April, last year. He has won off 1lb higher than his current mark, but was only a fair third last time and would probably prefer softer ground.
Generally in good form in 2016, but has not been quite so good this time round. Showed more over 7f at this track last time and the drop back in trip is a positive.
Fairly ordinary form in four starts this season, but is 5lb lower than when last successful over 5f at Pontefract a year ago and is likely to pop up at some stage. Not at his best last time and needs to step up to the plate.
Six starts over three seasons have failed to yield a place. Not much to shout about in two runs for his current yard and others have more going for them.
Only eighth of 12 on the AW when last seen in January. Not obviously well handicapped and likely to be in need of this outing to sharpen him up.
Lightly-raced colt who showed promise as a juvenile. Failed to pull up any trees on his seasonal reappearance at Redcar in May, but it's early days for him and he is in good hands.
In decent form at the back end of last season and returned in good heart when third over C&D. Has run reasonably in two outings since and is inching down the weights. Each-way shout.
Won in similar conditions at Ayr last month, but has been held off higher marks since and may need the handicapper to show some leniency before being able to strike again.
Has yet to hit the frame in eight starts on turf, but did finish sixth of 13 at this course last August. Not an obvious fancy, but cannot be totally dismissed.
Has been running over a variety of distances, but this looks to be his best trip and he has dropped to a 2lb lower mark than when last successful at Catterick last August. Failed to stay over a mile last time and one for the short list back to sprinting.
Lightly raced compared to most of his rivals and has been rather hit and miss since joining his current yard from William Haggas. On a going day when a slightly-unlucky third at Pontefract last time and firmly in the mix if reproducing that level of form.
Shaped well when just behind Searanger at Ripon last time. Seems to be running into form and, as last two wins have come over C&D, he is firmly in contention.
Still looking for her first win after seven starts, but shaped well on her second outing for her current trainer when a close-up fifth at Pontefract. Needs to build on that, but she is young and open to improvement.

A wide-open finale. Little Miss Lola is of interest at the foot of the handicap and Bold Spirit has to be considered back to sprinting. Robbie Roo Roo is in good heart and sure to have her supporters, while it would be no surprise to see Princeofthequeen step up markedly on his reappearance run and Gaelic Wizard go well at his favourite track. The selection, though, is SEARANGER, who has improved since stepping up to 6f and looks sure to be thereabouts. Prazeres is another to consider.
