Goes well here and won over C&D (firm) in May from a 6lb lower mark. Beaten less than 2L from same mark as today back over C&D last time and has to be on everyone's short list.
Went well on fast ground on his only try at Chepstow (1m) in May, when beaten just ½L into third. Didn't appear to get home over 1m1f last time. However, perhaps there were other reasons for that, as his talented trainer would surely not step him up again with stamina doubts. Has a bit to prove but not one to write-off either.
Won a Wolverhampton maiden over 1m½f in November, but has not yet bettered his reappearance run from Yarmouth in May, in two subsequent starts. A further 3lb drop puts him on a tempting mark and support for him would be very interesting.
Was a C&D scorer on firm ground in May, though the combination of a 5lb rise, a better race and 1m4f put paid to him at Newbury last time. This race is not as strong and he may do better back over this trip and in these conditions. Not ruled out.
Has been sent off at double figure prices in all four starts, including when stepped up to 1m4f for his handicap debut at Brighton (good to soft) last time and beaten 12½L. A 2lb drop for that does not look an obvious route to success today and he now tries another new trip. Best watched unless market is particularly positive.
Put in a couple of respectable efforts over 7f and 1m2f on fast ground on his first two starts this season and the slower conditions were probably to blame for his below par run last time. A 1lb drop won't do any harm and now back on quicker ground he looks to have each-way claims.
Well beaten in all three starts over this sort of trip in maiden company. Now goes handicapping from a moderate mark and in first-time blinkers, so could have more of a say, but backing him on what we have seen is very much a shot in the dark.

Daimochi (2/1), Bayston Hill (7/2), X Rated (9/2), Attain (6/1), Aware (13/2), Harry Beau (12/1), Chamasay (12/1), High Wells (16/1)
Money for X Rated, who is slipping to a more attractive mark, would be interesting here and could get very competitive, but preference on what we have seen of late is for ATTAIN, who won in these conditions over C&D in May and may be good enough to repeat the dose from 6lb higher. Harry Beau and Bayston Hill are potential contenders, while Daimochi and Aware are not beyond improvement this time.
