Pulled up over 1m5f at Ballinrobe on Wednesday on second Flat start, while that run was too bad to be true it doesn't inspire confidence.

Very well beaten off in midweek at Ballinrobe over 1m5f in second maiden, looks best watched at the moment.

A 600,000 gns Galileo colt who is nicely related, he is blinkered for this debut run but represents top connections and is worth noting.

Just one start last year and improved on that when making seasonal bow over C&D, has around 5½L to find on that evidence but further progress not ruled out. Yard are 0/62 on turf previous 12 months.

Made a solid start when second on debut at Gowran Park (1m1½f, soft to heavy) early in the month, there could well be more to come and the winner came out ran well despite being green at Tipperary yesterday in finishing second to all the way winner.

Beaten close to 20L over 1m at Listowel on debut (good) this month. Will have to improve markedly to play a key role in this.

Shamardal colt cost 200,000 gns as a yearling is nicely related to a number of winners and is worth a market check here on debut for powerful connections.

Yard are in good form but this runner has been beaten a combined 50L in maidens here (1m2f, good) and at Listowel (1m, good). Hard to fancy on that evidence. Looks to be stable second string.

Teofilo colt is a brother to three winners and represents the in-form Bolger team. One of two for the yard, looks most promising with stable jockey on.

Footstepsinthesand colt was never a threat in third behind easy winner on debut over 1m1½f at Gowran Park four days ago. More needed now in quick turnaround.

Girolamo colt worth a check in the betting on this debut run, yard respected and have been going ok of late.

Kitten's Joy colt is nicely related to a number of winners and makes appeal on paper. Wears blinkers here and stable jockey rides Cristofano Allori instead but no surprise if this one goes well.

90,000 gns Sea The Stars filly represents a yard that has just slowed down a touch of late now making her racecourse bow, no surprise should she go well however and a market check is essential.

20:55 Curragh - 30 June 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Last year's winning trainer/jockey combination may have found another good chance here with CANNONBALL. He was an even-money favourite on debut at Gowran Park on debut early this month but settled for second. The winner was second at Tipperary yesterday despite running green, so the form looks ok, and it won't be a shock if he goes one better now. The newcomers looks the most likely threats. Air Supremacy was a costly purchase for Ballydoyle and demands respect while Smullen's mount Cristofano Allori may be the more the likely of two from Rosewell House. Vale Of Light can also go well, though her trainer has entered a leaner spell of late. Poker Party has had his problems, but ran a fair race over hurdles last time and is worth a market check for respected jumps yard.
  1. Cannonball
  2. Air Supremacy
  3. Cristofano Allori
