Not raced in this grade since the turn of the year when scoring with ease over 1m4f at Wolverhampton. However, comfortably beaten with regularity since and yet to prove his ability over this longer trip.

Consistent on the AW during the early part of the year and twice placed at this track (1m4f and 2m) during that period. Higher in the weights now and a well held last of four to Admiral's Sunset at Bath in mid-May.

Left some low key efforts behind in his last two starts; at Chepstow (no match for a pair of decent rivals), and at Chelmsford last week when a ½L runner up to Graceful Lady (pair clear). A past winner of this race and likely to go close.

Off the mark over C&D for this trainer at the first attempt two weeks ago when 3½L too good for Intimidator. 4lb higher, but tough to knock her record here since December 2015 (1,2,2,8,1).

Nine race maiden, but did manage to finish second over C&D in November 2016 to Multigifted. However, many lengths behind See And Be Seen at Chelmsford on his latest outing and tough to see how that form will be turned around.

Not won since June 2015 (for Richard Fahey) and a well beaten fifth in a Leicester seller when last in action. Hard to enthuse about, especially over this longer trip.

Won a Class 6 handicap over C&D in February (beat Night Generation by a short head), but finished behind that rival on his most recent Flat outing at Lingfield in March. Since then, he's tasted success twice over hurdles (seller and a claimer) so holds a chance of a most unlikely June hat-trick.

Seven race maiden who finished runner up in this contest in 2016. No match for decisive winner Golly Miss Molly over C&D a fortnight ago, with the slight change in the weights not looking anywhere near enough to suggest a reversal is likely.

No form in a couple of starts for this trainer and absent from the track since February 2016 so easily ignored on her return to action.

Had been beginning to look frustrating prior to a slightly improved effort at Newcastle earlier in the month (over 10L fourth to Archipeligo, runner up won since). Dropped 2lb but upped almost 6F in trip with blinkers applied.

Minor claims based upon a couple of runs here earlier in the year, and went down narrowly to Ryeolliean over hurdles at Plumpton in April (2m4f). However, lost his way a shade of late but a return to this trip on the Flat looks a sound move.

Off the track for 22 months since winning at Lingfield in August 2015, so tough to know quite what to expect. Did appear suited by stepping up to this kind of trip that afternoon (left all previous form well behind), and a 4lb rise isn't the main concern. Non-runner at Chepstow on 16th June.

Finished in front of a few of these rivals (including Iona Island and Money Talks) when winning over C&D in March, and fairly closely matched with Ascendant and Golly Miss Molly on Lingfield form from early May assuming you can forgive him his most recent dismal showing here a fortnight ago (last of twelve to Golly Miss Molly).

Ex French racer (0 from 3), and has shown nothing in two starts for this yard in 2017. Dropped 3lb and the hood is applied, as he heads back up in trip to 2m for the first time in England. Non-runner at Chepstow on 16th June.

20:40 Kempton - 28 June 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Plenty of Kempton regulars line up in the finale for the stayers. Ascendant seeks an unlikely June hat-trick having already tasted success in selling and claiming hurdles, whilst recent C&D winner Golly Miss Molly bids to follow up her decisive success from Intimidator. With competing form lines aplenty, the safest call is to focus on recent form, and for that reason, SEE AND BE SEEN gets the nod. He appears to be in better shape than ever lately, and as a past winner of this contest, the track clearly suits him down to the ground.
  1. See And Be Seen
  2. Golly Miss Molly
  3. Intimidator
