Beat the useful Claracam when making a winning debut over hurdles for Willie Mullins back in September 2013 and ran well in some top class races before winning a race on the level over 1m4f. Has since added another win over timber but had a recent run over 2m on the level for new yard. Interesting contender.
Has been off the course since November 2015 but won four of his last six races over hurdles, winning three big field handicaps in good style. Makes a welcome return to the track and could go well.
Landed the last of her four wins to date over hurdles when scoring over 2m3f at Cork in April and has been unable to add to that in three subsequent starts. Often held up, she could go close if running up to her best.
Showed ability when trained in France and ran away with a couple of 2m hurdle races back in March when ridden by Rachael Blackmore. A beaten favourite in three of his four races since, he could easily find his way back into the winners' circle.
Lightly raced, she has won four races in her 13 career starts, regaining her very best form when pushed out for a comfortable victory over 2m4f at Tipperary. A repeat of that run will take her close.
A winner between the flags and has three wins to his name under rules, showing battling qualities to win an extended 3m1f chase by a head just over a year ago. Pulled up after a bad early mistake on his first run for a new trainer in April but could run a big race here.
A wonderfully game and consistent mare over hurdles and is a credit to her connections. Her sole success to date came at this venue back in May 2016 and in her current form, she could go in again.
Twice successful on the level, he opened his account over hurdles over 2m at Tipperary just over a year ago but has been a little up and down since. Could run into a place if showing his very best form.
One-time fairly useful on the level when trained by Aidan O'Brien. Successful once on the Flat, he won a 2m maiden hurdle at Thurles last October and has found one too good in his last two races. Will not lack support in this contest.
Has winning form on the level, over both hurdles and fences and has not fared that badly in his last two runs following a 13-month absence. Raced over the same trip at Listowel last time and is a lively contender.
Forecasts
Lachares (3/1), Petuna (9/2), Conduct Yourself (6/1), Zig Zag (6/1), Weather Watch (7/1), Jaime Sommers (8/1), Gentleman Duke (8/1), Cogryhill (20/1), Phil The Flyer (25/1), Noble Inn (33/1)
LACHARES picked up two very easy wins over timber when landing back-to-back victories back in March and although punters have had their fingers burnt in three of his four subsequent starts, his followers will be back and he can regain the winning thread. Gentleman Duke and Zig Zag are a couple of lively contenders at the bottom of the weights but a bigger threat will come in the shape of Noble Inn. He has a win over the smart Claracam to his name when in the care of Willie Mullins and a recent run on the level will have brought him on.
