Book ended his 2016 campaign with wins over 1m2f at Newmarket and Doncaster. A very consistent campaign saw his mark rise to the upper 90's and he just been struggling to make an impression off that sort of mark this year.
Winner in Italy who showed up well on the AW when racing over further. This drop in trip combined with his mark give him a relatively tough task though and he may need some help from the handicapper before he is of interest.
Highly successful last season landing four races in row in a real purple patch and still looks in good form this year despite not managing to win yet. Very respectable run last time out at York behind two improving sorts (Dance King third) and should run well again here although a place may be the best he can hope for.
Best form for this yard came at Redcar last October when scoring in what could be called ready fashion off a mark of 79. Not been able to fire so far this season and can be slowly away but does travel well although he does looks a rather quirky sort.
Versatile campaigner who was successful twice on the AW in early 2016 and has also scored over hurdles. Ran over 1m4f last time out and looked as though he needed a greater test of stamina so may well find this 1m2f here too sharp.
Up 2lb for his run at York last time with Rainbow Rebel behind he still looks interesting off this sort of mark especially as he was very patiently ridden and the leaders rather got away from him. This distance looks sure to suit and he's still 1lb below his highest winning mark and he must have a leading chance here.
C&D winner three times over but his mark looks rather harsh now after his latest success here a few starts ago. Would do well to win this if he does come here. Also engaged in the 7.05 on Friday.

Not a particularly strong contest for a 0-95 and Speed King may well appreciate running in slightly easier company after being highly tried this year and running well last. Rainbow Rebel was another one who was in top form last year but has find life more difficult this year despite running well and he has work to do here to beat DANCE KING. Tim Easterby’s charge looks on a winning mark after his York run and can go a couple of placesbetter here. Hibou is capable of getting involved if he’s on a going day while Cape Of Glory may find this trip a little short having run over 1m4f last time out.
