Very unreliable individual of late and virtually refused to race last time out and finished last and one to be wary of.

Winner of a Southwell maiden over 5f she ran well below that form in handicaps at the same track the last twice and now starts life for a new yard with cheekpieces on for the first time.

Makes her debut for this yard having previously been with Andrew Balding and got off the mark for him when dropped to 0-55 company. Not the most straightforward but can still be competitive off this mark if she breaks on level terms which she didn't last time out.

Lightly raced sort who won a maiden over 6f last year (showed good speed). Makes her AW debut here have looked to struggle a little in handicaps this year although the handicapper has eased her a few pounds which would give her a chance.

Last win came way back in 2015 and the mark continues to fall although he doesn't look like he's about to take advantage anytime soon due to his inconsistency. Remains a very risky proposition despite the fall in the weights even in this grade.

Remains a maiden but a fair one have filled the runner-up slot on his last two starts as a two-year-old. If he's fit and ready (yard are in form) then that form he showed last year would be good enough to give him a leading chance here.

Still a maiden after 12 starts and hasn't really threatened to turn that position around of late and others are preferred.

Beaten in seven handicaps all of lowly marks and running very poorly of late and can only be watched here.

Only beaten one horse home in her last two starts and well held in a handicap last time and makes very little appeal here.

Forecasts

Debonaire David (11/10), Fleeting Glimpse (9/2), Pleadings (8/1), Fly True (8/1), Keep It Dark (8/1), Nuzha (12/1), Silver Penny (25/1), Mobley Chaos (33/1), Jesse Tree (50/1)

20:20 Lingfield - 22 June 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Plenty that you wouldn’t want to get involved with here although Fleeting Glimpse is reasonable vehicle at this level if she gets away on terms. Keep It Dark has fallen to a mark off which he ought to be able to win off but his inconsistency make him a risky proposition as is Silver Penny although the handicapper is giving her a chance also. All in all though DEBONAIRE DAVID is the one with potential if he’s ready to go and this really should not take much winning.
  1. Debonaire David
  2. Fleeting Glimpse
  3. Silver Penny
