Three runs now in maidens with the last one coming over C&D when 2/1f with the trio of runs all being solid enough without being progressive. Didn't look totally at home on the track last time although that experience may stand him in good stead on his second outing on this track.

Possibly not suited by conditions last time out at Haydock (soft going) and his best run still remains on the AW over 5f at Kempton Park. Now steps up to 6f for the first time with the ground looking to suit him much better although he has something to find on form.

Has shown some fair form on a couple of occasions but disappointed last time out at Ayr on his first try over 6f although the soft ground may have been to blame. Worth another chance back on better ground for a yard that has done well with its juveniles this season.

The only debutante in the field he cost €52,000 as a yearling and is the first foal of a dam who is a lightly-raced half-sister to the useful 1m2f-1m4f winner Pretorio. Yard are yet to have a juvenile winner this season but have only had three runners in this sphere so far.

Made an inauspicious start to his career unseating his rider on debut at Chepstow soon after the start putting on a very mulish display. Can only be watched after those antics on what is effectively his debut.

Very much looked held back by her inexperience on debut at Bath when finishing third of six. Many of the yards juveniles have improved for the outing this year and it wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility for that to happen here in a race that lacks depth.

Alaska didn’t look totally at home on the track here last time out although he does have the ability to win a race of this nature and the same could be said of Poignant who may well appreciate a return to a firmer surface. With plenty of the Hannon two-year-olds improving for their second run URSUS BELLE is given the vote here in a race that looks to lack any depth.
  1. Ursus Belle
  2. Poignant
  3. Alaska
