Sea The Stars filly who cost 200,000 gns as a yearling and was off the mark at the first attempt despite showing signs of greeness over this trip at Lingfield in January. Unable to follow up on handicap debut later that month (runner up to Emenem), but given time off since and raised just 2lb, so an obvious player on turf debut.

A filly on the up who took a 1m4f handicap at Chepstow (good to soft) on her debut at that level last month. Unable to follow up under a penalty at Salisbury shortly thereafter (beaten 1L by Pow Wow), and raised a further 3lb since. Now 10lb above her winning mark, and dropped in trip.

Showed some potential in AW maidens at the turn of the year, but was beaten 2½L by Ocean Drive at Lingfield in January (levels) despite having the benefit of a previous run. Meets that rival on 5lb better terms, but not so strong at Salisbury latest, and an opening mark of 72 might prove too much for her handicap debut.

Didn't appear to be progressing in maiden company, but showed a reasonable level of form nonetheless and finished runner up on her final two starts in 2016. Seemed to stay this trip at Bath in September, but the majority of her racing has come over shorter trips. Handicap debut, rated 71.

Trainer in good form, and this filly contributed to that run when a decisive winner over 1m at Bath (soft) last month. Beaten from a 9lb higher mark on her next start at Leicester, she needs to show further improvement to figure now stepped up in trip to 1m2f.

Not shown a great deal in maiden company to date, but can be expected to come on for her seasonal reappearance at Ascot last month. Needs to prove she stays this trip and the first time blinkers are added for her handicap debut.

Ran her best race so far when third to Titi Makfi at Sandown last week (1m1f good), and that coincided with the addition of cheek-pieces. The headgear is retained, and whilst bred to stay, she needs to definitively prove her stamina.

16:30 Nottingham - 15 June 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

OCEAN DRIVE has been given time off to strengthen since a couple of runs on the Polytrack at Lingfield in January. She didn't quite get the job done on her handicap debut when run down close home by Emenem, but that form looks solid enough, and she would appear to have the measure of Nurse Nightingale based upon their previous clash. Prize Diva might give her most to think about if building upon her Sandown effort behind the progressive Titi Makfi last week, but she needs to definitively prove she stays this trip (should do based on pedigree).
