Pivotal gelding, cost 200,000 gns as a yearling. Shaped encouragingly on his debut over 7f (soft) at Newbury first time out, staying on to finish a 3L fourth behind Almoreb. Sure to appreciate this extra furlong.

Notnowcato gelding, related to a couple of winners over 1m and 1m2f. Fifth of 10 on debut at Nottingham but finished well beaten and the form has taken a few knocks since. Opposable.

Born To Sea colt, cost €44,000. Half-brother to several useful winners around this trip. Went close on debut at Redcar and the form of that contest has been franked but he couldn't back that effort up at Hamilton last time. May have been caught out by the faster ground so no surprise if he appreciates the softer conditions here.

Runner-up on seasonal return at Leicester where he ran well but very poor last time out at Newmarket when very keen. Can be forgiven that and first-time cheekpieces may see him in a better light. Sets a high standard judged on his penultimate run.

Lonhro colt, half-brother to Mishaal, Mizwaaj and Naddwah, dam was a half-sister to Group 2 winner Iffraaj and Group 3 winners Kareymah and Farraaj. Makes plenty of appeal on paper and interesting to see what the market makes of him, particularly in comparison to his stablemate.

Oasis Dream colt, cost 500,000 gns as a yearling. Full-brother to Group 1 winner Querarai and half-brother to multiple other Group winners Quasillo and Quidura. Has to be taken seriously on debut with that price tag and makes plenty of appeal on paper. Very interesting debutante.

SHARJA BRIDGE has a beautiful pedigree and if the market vibes are strong, he may be able to start paying back his eye-catching price tag. Mutarabby sets a high standard for the selection to aim at and will no doubt capitalise on any potential shortcomings in the debutantes attitude. Stablemate Naaeebb is another with a smart pedigree and any market support would be interesting, particularly with his stablemate commending respect.

  3. Naaeebb
