Hamilton Audi RS Performance Handicap

Has not won since her debut at York (5f, good) a year ago but was placed in Listed company later last season. Could have had a clearer passage at Ripon last time when beaten 2L and from the same mark she look a player.

Finished over 1L ahead of Angel Meadow when runner-up at Ripon last time. The pair meet on the same terms and this gelding has made a good, consistent start to the season. He can probably run his race again and although he is not guaranteed to stay ahead in that particular battle., he should be very competitive.

Won a Lingfield maiden in January (7f, AW). Given a break before returning for his handicap debut last month at Kempton (7f, AW), when he was beaten almost 9L from 1lb higher. Still plenty to learn and can make some progress here, though tries new trip and vastly different conditions.

Has won half of her six starts over 5f-6f, the most recent coming last time at Newcastle (5f, AW) from 5lb lower. 1lb worse with Dandy Highwayman for finishing 1¼L behind him at Ripon (6f, good to firm) in April. Should again be competitive.

Was runner-up in a couple of C&D maidens last summer, the second on heavy ground. Returned to action with a good showing in an Ayr maiden (6f, good to firm) last month and now enters handicap company from a workable mark. Looks to have the ability to have a big say.

Made the frame in a couple of maidens over 5f at York and Newcastle, though was beaten 11L over a similar trip at Redcar last time on his handicap debut. 2lb lower now and cheek pieces added, so may be able to get back into the groove.

Sole win came in a Musselburgh maiden (5f, good) around a year ago, but has not yet threatened to add a handicap win to his CV. Handles cut in the ground and is dropping to a more attractive mark, so a market check is suggested.

Not able to get competitive in maidens, or when tried in a maiden handicap at Southwell when last seen in January. Handles these conditions and now dropped 3lb, he may do better and he is another for whom a market check looks prudent.

Was runner-up in a soft ground handicap at Redcar (5f) in October from 2lb higher. Well beaten in lower grade than this on his reappearance, but put that behind him in a maiden last time. Could now do better back in this sphere and a likely player.
