Took advantage of a career-low mark to win on debut for this yard on the AW at Chelmsford over 7f (won with a bit to spare). Failed to follow-up under a penalty five days later over the same trip at Wolverhampton but did look unlucky to run into one even better handicapped. Should continue to run well but a move back to 6f is a slight unknown.
Not had that many outings on turf and has run creditably on his last two tries on the surface both at Beverley over 5f. Moderate run back on the AW last time out and his last win came in a claimer and may find life tough from his wide draw here.
Has returned in good form of late winning at Thirsk (beat Show Palace - runs in the 9.10) and filling the runner-up spot in two subsequent starts off a 6lb higher mark. Will be better suited by the move back to 6f here and without a lot of pace on her inside could be well drawn to take a good early position.
Often starts slowly so not sure to be able to use a good draw in stall 2 but would have a chance in this based on his third at Thirsk on his penultimate run (three next time out winners from the race). Looked compromised by the 5f trip last time out and will be suited by a return to this 6f.
Last win came off a 2lb higher mark at the end of last year nut her form this year has merely underlined how inconsistent she is. Soon off the bridle at Nottingham last time she remains one to treat with caution.
Slow starter who won't be able to take advantage of his good low draw and although he's down to a workable mark the tardy starts are a problem that often put him on the back foot. Cheekpieces are back on today with his last three wins all coming in this headgear.
Another one who is seemingly well drawn but is rather out of sorts at the moment and often races in the rear after starting slowly. Best watched here until he shows more than he has of late.
Just the sort of "cast-off" that this yard does well with and they may yet make use of a tumbling mark which is now down to a career low. Done little since his juvenile days and has yet to really fire this season but well worth watching out for off this sort of mark.
Very consistent performer last year winning a couple of 6f handicaps one over C&D off a mark of 61 (4lb higher here). Run at Carlisle last time showing that he was coming to the boil and worth looking at here with that run under his belt from a good sprinting yard.
Numerous unsuccessful tries to get off the mark on turf (0/28 - often flatters to deceive) but has won twice on the AW (both over 7f). Shaped better than final position last time out at York (caught too far back) but that was over 7f and the move back to 6f may prove to be too sharp.
Only win so far has come in a 5f claimer and despite the fact that he ran well after 11 months off on his reappearance he failed to back that up last time out. Down to a career-low mark but others still make more appeal.
Double-figure draw won't help this dual handicap winner from last year who produced a career best on his first start this year at Thirsk over 6f. Remains on the same mark and if he can back that run up he would have a chance here.
Out-and-out front runner who has fared badly with the draw being drawn 16-of-16 and that won't help at all. Failed to settle on his reappearance at Doncaster over 7f and remains without a win for two years for a yard that are rather quiet at the moment.
Despite his yard remaining inform it's hard to find too many positives for this one who is on a losing run of 15 and hasn't really fired of late and the double-figure draw won't really help either.
Has been in good form on the AW since the turn of the year winning twice off marks of 47 and 55. Returned to turf last time to score over the same trip off a career high mark at Catterick (suited by strongly run race) and this is another step up in class off a new high mark of 60.

The first of two very complicated sprints that close the card and as with the finale the draw may well play a part here as it often does in Pontefract sprints although there isn’t much pace drawn very low here. Siege Of Boston is well berthed but the 6f trip is a slight unknown although the market may well tell a story with this one. Compton Park must be given a chance with the return to 6f a positive and French also enters the equation given her good form last time and reasonable draw. Round The Island may find his chance compromised by the draw and Cliff isn’t one that you could totally trust so it might pay to take a chance with MR ORANGE here. He’s a consistent sort who runs well here and looks to be coming to the boil now from a yard that is in good heart with their sprinters. It may also pay to keep a market watch on Racquet who looks just the type to pop up at a big price in the coming weeks.
