Speedily bred colt who was keen on debut and did not quite get home. Many of the yard's youngsters are improving for a run but they are still 13-60 with this age group this season. Stable took this last year.
Cost 2.6million gns as a son of Dubawi and the first foal of Coronation Stakes winner Fallen For You. Dam won here on debut and stable 8-13 with juveniles this year.
Dark Angel colt purchased for €140,000 as a yearling last year. Half-brother to classy miler Albaasil. Performed best of those drawn high on Newbury debut. Yard 8-27 in past fortnight and 6-18 with their juveniles in 2017.
48,000 gns Makfi half-brother to Trader Jack and Major Jack. Dam won a 7f maiden. Trainer/jockey combination are 5-20 here.
Exceed And Excel colt cost 400,000 gns and is a half-brother to top class juvenile Cursory Glance. Trainer/jockey combination 26-85 at the track.
Failed to build on debut promise when well beaten at Chelmsford. Neither of those efforts would be anywhere near good enough to land this.
Unraced daughter of Authorized cost €18,000 as a yearling last year. Half-sister to useful hurdler Angel's Share and likely to struggle over this trip on debut.
By Dubawi out of the top class mare Barshiba and a half-sister to Arabian Queen. Impeccable pedigree and market will indicate how forward she is.
Fetched $800,000 as a yearling. Half-sister to a sprint winner on dirt in the US. Has some fancy entries for later in the year so one to note in the ring. Stable have been quiet but rider has booted home three winners at the track from nine rides this term.

This race could produce a lot of future winners. Grand Koonta and Central City set the standard on form but both would be vulnerable to an above average newcomer. Cosmopolitan Queen, Qayes and GLORIOUS JOURNEY all make plenty of appeal on pedigree, with the latter the most expensive at 2.6million guineas. As a son of Dubawi out of a Coronation Stakes winner it would surprise few if he proved good enough to land a race where the market will be a valuable source of intelligence.
