Has won three times here over 6f and won over the same trip at Newcastle last week. A 6lb penalty asks him to win off a mark that has proved beyond him in more recent years and the drop in trip is an added concern.

Has been holding his form well in recent months. 0-18 around here although he has been placed seven times, however the pick of those efforts have come over 6f.

Raced on the unfavoured stands side at Thirsk last time but still posted a creditable effort to chase home the useful Kinloch Pride. Cheekpieces are retained and now switches to an AW surface where he can race off a lower rating. Has been placed over C&D and trainer 2-9 since the start of the month.

Dual C&D winner who has been of the track since February. That run signalled a return to form but she has obviously had a setback since. Best watched as a result.

Good second here in February but out of sorts since and has finished last on his two most recent starts (both on turf). New headgear applied but remains hard to fancy.

Two of his three career victories have been over C&D. The last of his successes was 15 races ago in 2015 and he has been largely disappointing since.

Winner at Cork in 2015 but has done little of note since. Trainer 1-4 on his raids over here and young pilot has four wins to his name in Ireland.

Lightly raced maiden who has not been disgraced on last two starts when ridden prominently. Looks poised to go off in front again and those tactics often pay dividends over this C&D.

Has form on this surface and is down another 2lb for a defeat at Chepstow last time out, but it will still be hard to improve a 0-17 record from out of the handicap.

Maggi May's positive running style makes her a candidate to go close but she may have to play second fiddle here again, this time to STORM TROOPER. Marjorie Fife fitted cheekpieces last time and got an improved run from him to finish fourth behind the prolific winner Kinloch Pride. That was just his second run for his new trainer who has struck form in the past week and further progress can be expected here.
