Canford Cliffs colt, half-brother to Group 3 winner Panama Hat. Finished well beaten on debut but improved on that at Windsor on yard debut on second start. Trainer's hit form and he has a fine record when teaming up with this jockey (26.92%), who himself has an excellent record around here. Entitled to come on for his Windsor run and this should tell us more where he's at but he has to be a leading player amongst these rivals.

Halling colt whose dam was a Group-placed French winner over a mile. Beaten odds-on favourite at Chlemsford last time and looks like he may be better over a little shorter in this but no surprise to see him run well and his runner-up effort last time is amongst the best form on offer here.

Kitten's Joy colt, cost 100,000 gns as a yearling. Full-brother to Group 3 winner Charming Kitten. Showed nothing on debut but bred to be smart and could come on markedly for that effort last time.

Well beaten on debut at Nottingham but improved effort at Newbury last time, finishing well behind Derby runner Dubai Thunder. Plenty to like about that effort and proven in softer conditions to some extent so not ruled out here. Engaged at Sandown Thursday.

Improved for her debut effort with two promising efforts this year. Only beaten ½L in a respectable looking maiden at Kempton and not disgraced at Chester last month so should continue to progress for a yard in excellent form.
