Successful here and at Windsor as a juvenile, landing odds of 2/5 with ease over 5f here in August 2015, when trained by Saeed bin Suroor. Was gelded in March 2016 and has only been out the once since, over 6f at Newmarket last August, when running a decent race. One to note on his debut for a new yard.

Secured the last of his three wins to date when scoring over 6f at Windsor last August and shaped well on his seasonal return at Windsor last month when chasing home King of Spin. Not beaten far in a better race last time, he will give a good account.

Scored on his debut at Newmarket back in May 2015 when trained by Gay Kelleway, landing odds of 25/1. Beaten 5L in the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh next time, he has travelled a lot in his career so far but has failed to add to his debut success. Returns to the Kelleway yard and is an interesting runner.

Landed a fourth career win when scooting clear to record an easy 5L success over 6f at Yarmouth last September but has lacked consistency since, showing glimpses of his best. Below par at Pontefract last time, the step back up in trip will suit.

Stable in form and has been fairly consistent in his racing, deserving to get his head in front when scoring over 6f at Kempton in October. Began the season with a comfortable victory over 6f at Wolverhanpton but was a beaten odds-on favourite last time when not getting a clear run. Compensation awaits.

His three wins to date have all come on an artificial surface, his last victory coming over 6f at Newcastle in December. Not disgraced in a better race last time, he runs for a new stable this evening but will need his best form to score.

7/1
Landed the last of her six career wins on this track back in April, staying on well to land a 6f event. She ran in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot as a juvenile and was not beaten far in a decent 6f contest at Goodwood last time. One with decent claims.

Age: 4|  Weight: 9-0| J: Jim Crowley| T: Owen Burrows| OR:  78| D
5/2
Has been a consistent performer so far, mainly at 6f, opening his account with a gutsy all-the-way success over that trip at Salisbury last July. Returned from a break in April to chase home Time To Exceed when not getting the clearest of runs and will be there or thereabouts.

Forecasts

Compas Scoobie (2/1), Tanasoq (5/2), Goring (4/1), Diamond Lady (7/1), Highly Sprung (8/1), Zebstar (20/1), Human Nature (25/1), Consulting (33/1)

20:20 Lingfield - 3 June 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

COMPASS SCOOBIE was all dressed up with nowhere to go at Yarmouth last time out and his young pilot had to sit and suffer, the gap finally opening when it was too late. He was impressive when scoring under the same jockey at Wolverhampton in April and could take a world of beating. Tanasoq is a consistent sort over this 6f trip and will be there at the death while Zebstar catches the eye having returned to the Gay Kelleway stable. Highly Sprung will be hoping to bounce back from a slightly disappointing run last time.
