Likable sort who has gone from strength to strength since joining this trainer. Put up a game performance to win a Sandown Group 2 last time but he does have to concede weight all-round here and that won't be easy against some classy rivals.
13 wins from 57 turf starts and bounced back to form at Leopardstown last time, keeping on well under pressure. This looks tougher though and that was his first win since 2015 so probably best watched having to concede weight to all but one in the field.
Lightly raced individual who looked progressive last year and started this season with a win at Doncaster. Couldn't back that up last time though and his form looks a level below what's required in this contest.
Narrowly denied in a Group 1 contest on Super Saturday at Meydan this winter and running to a consistent level in defeat since. Has some of the best form in the race but does give the impression he's better on a quicker surface and that has to be a concern here.
Eight time winner but has only scored once in his last 28 starts. Excellent effort behind Soveriegn Debt at Sandown two starts back and gets a 5lb swing in the weights with that rival for a ½L defeat. Not in quite the same form last time but conditions should be in his favour here and jockey booking is eye-catching; each-way player.
Given a masterful ride by Ryan Moore to score at Doncaster on his reappearance. Had more use made of him when disappointing next time but it could be a different scenario now and looks versatile with regards to both tactics and ground these days. Could bounce back.
Progressive handicapper last year and justified favouritism to score in Listed company last time. Needs to step up again and ground may have gone against him a little but he's both progressive and uncomplicated at least.

With a little rain forecast over night, the ground may go against Folkswood and Oh This Is Us who both of sound form claims. A chance is taken on GABRIAL to bounce back to form after a slightly disappointing run last time. His effort behind Sovereign Debt the time before was a smart effort and he gets weight off that rival here. Kool Kompany is another who won't mind some rain and he's an uncomplicated sort who should go well.
