Made all to score here in March and improved on that at Yarmouth next time. Stable have had four winners from their last eight runners and he probably has more to come.
Form has a patchy look about it. However, his efforts in this class show one win and three placed efforts from four starts. These include a battling second at Leicester last week and that would make him hard to beat.
Stepped up to 1m4f to break her duck in a maiden at Wolverhampton. Only had to run to this mark to succeed and has more to do here. Nevertheless, that will have boosted her confidence.
Yet to win over this trip and last couple of successes have come in sellers. No surprise to see him beaten on turf last time but still hard to fancy in this grade on his favoured surface.
More than three years since his last victory. Went well on only previous AW start but he has looked out of sorts for some while now. Stable now try new headgear in a bid to rekindle his enthusiasm.
Picked up eighth AW win last week under this rider. Benefited from the way the race was run and faces a stiffer test off his revised mark. Yet to make the first three in this grade.
Forecasts
Cape Peninsular (15/8), Celebration Day (5/2), Tee It Up Tommo (5/1), Mikmak (5/1), Tobacco Road (8/1), Mr Red Clubs (20/1)
Simon Crisford has his horses going well at present and Celebration Day will be fancied to maintain their good run. Cape Peninsular is a consistent sort who could progress now she has finally got her head in front. MIKMAK has a good record at this level and there was a lot to like about his performance at Leicester last week. A reproduction of that effort would be good enough..
