Trip and forecast ground are ideal for this C&D winner from last July, who did so from 3lb lower. Has been competitive since then from 1lb lower than today and after a recent Yarmouth return run that was encouraging he could get much closer.

Scored here over 7½f (good) last season from 2lb higher and was not disgraced over that same trip here last time also from 2lb higher. Handicapper has given him a chance again, although the draw could have been better, but could go well at a price.

Recorded back-to-back wins for William Haggas in 2015, both over 7f. Best efforts last season were over 1m, though did run well enough on his only try over this far at Newcastle in October. Entitled to claims from today's career-low mark and with a good draw, so another who could go well at a decent price.

Has won 6-46 so far and loves it here, with five of those being over C&D (all on good to firm), four under today's pilot. The last of those was a year ago from 2lb higher than today and was on his second start back, so the stars look to be aligning again and after a pipe-opener he looks primed for a much better performance.

Dual C&D winner (good and good to firm) who wins came in 2015. Has also succumbed to King Of The Celts a couple of times around here before spending a lengthy spell off the track from September 2015 until his comeback run here earlier in the month. Entitled to come on a far bit for that and not ruled out from 2lb higher than best win.

Unplaced in four starts for David Lanigan, the most recent one being the only one in handicap company to date, when a 5L fifth of 12 at Kempton (1m4f, AW) in August. 2lb ower today and yard among the winners, so a market check is suggested.

Sole win was 12 months ago at Bath (1m2f, good) from 5lb lower when trained by Mick Channon. Has shown since then that he has the ability to get competitive from this mark and now back over the right trip and from a decent draw he is very much respected.

Has won both over C&D and 1m4f on the Westwood, so we know that he acts well here, though he is still 3lb higher than the most recent of those successes in September. Best on good ground, so a drop of rain would help, while he has a wide draw to contend with and may just be best watched this time.

0-12, his best run for this yard being two starts back, when runner-up (beaten 1½L) over 1m at Newcastle on the All Weather. 1lb higher today and returns after a break for his first turf start in Britain. A precautionary market check is suggested.

Forecasts

Monsieur Glory (9/4), All You (5/1), Tin Pan Alley (5/1), Dream Free (11/2), King Of The Celts (9/1), Rockliffe (10/1), Bromance (12/1), Brandon Castle (14/1), Auxiliary (16/1), Lean On Pete (20/1), Deinonychus (25/1)

16:30 Beverley - 31 May 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Monsieur Glory is interesting here after his Yarmouth return run and he can go well, while All You is another contender if overcoming his draw. Auxiliary is unexposed over this trip and looks one for each-way players to strongly consider, while Rockliffe could be booked for a good run now back over his optimum trip. Nonethless, KING OF THE CELTS is a formidable opponent for all of these, He loves it here, goes well for Rachel Richardson and is well handicapped again, so he gets the vote.
  1. King Of The Celts
  2. Monsieur Glory
  3. Auxiliary
