Outpaced at Tabley over an inadequate trip 12 days ago and the winner of a two runner point-to-point last month. Good efforts in hunter chases, again over too short a trip at Ascot, and then here in a hotter race than this.

Winner of three point-to-points and seems best suited to some give underfoot. Pulled up over 4m at Cheltenham last time. This more his level and yard had a hunter winner at Towcester eleven days ago.

Has only landed one point-to-point and 0-34 under rules. Soon behind at Cheltenham last time and pulled up before halfway. Hard to fancy on that showing.

Beaten by his lesser fancied stable companion in a Cold Harbour point-to-point last month. Won a three runner contest prior to that when when the outsider of the party. Has been beaten in all five previous hunter chases but all were over shorter distances. Has claims in a poor race.

Winner of two point-to-points but lightly raced over the last couple of years. Best recent effort came when chasing home Proximo at Whitfield but that form does not look good enough.
6
Horse silk

Out of his depth at Cheltenham last time but this looks more his level. Local trainer landed this in 2013.

Forecasts

Master Sunrise (7/4), Brody Bleu (11/4), Rye Cross (4/1), Connies Cross (6/1), Invisible Man (7/1), Well Mett (16/1), Dr Anubis (66/1)

17:50 Worcester - 26 May 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Brody Bleu has shaped well in a couple of hunter chases this term over inadequate trips and his third to Monsieur Gibraltar is a solid effort. Invisible Man has been in good form between the flags of late and, although his hunter chase form gives him something to find, he ought to be more of a threat over this trip and now that he is dropped in grade. WELL METT finished third in a hotter renewal of this 12 months ago. He arrives having won two of his four starts in point-to-points and dropping in class. He was behind Master Sunrise at Cheltenham last time but made a bad mistake early and was never competitive thereafter. These easier fences and flatter course will be to his advantage.
  1. Well Mett
  2. Brody Bleu
  3. Invisible Man
