Oriens Aviation EBF Maiden Fillies' Stakes (Plus 10)

Dark Angel filly, cost €65,000 as a yearling. Closely related to winners at around the mile and dam was a half sister to Grade 2/Group 3 winner Tam Lin. Went well on debut last year getting the hang of things late on and no surprise to see her run well again provided the step up in trip doesn't catch her out. Leading contender with some experience under her belt.

High Chaparral filly, cost 100,000 gns as a yearling. Closely related to the smart winner up to 1m4f Century and a half-sister to 1m1f winner Privy Garden. Very promising debut effort at Sandown and should enjoy similar conditions here but yard have been a little quiet generally speaking.

So You Think filly, half-sister to winners Stravagante and Stargazer while her dam was Group-placed. Well beaten at Kempton on debut towards the end of last year but she's bred to be better than that and this trainer/jockey combination won this last year.

Unplaced on all 10 starts, more exposed than the rest of this field and hard to fancy in a race of this nature.

Oasis Dream filly, half-sister to miler Star Blaze and dam was a Listed winner. Signs the yard are hitting form now and trainer has a 14.5% strike-rate around here when teaming up with this jockey. Should go well and yard do well with their fillies.

Cape Cross filly, half-sister to Listed winner Adool. Not a whole lot of stamina in her pedigree, yard have been a little quiet and may be seen to better effect when dropped down in trip when tackling handicaps.

Galileo filly, cost €300,000 as a yearling. Half-sister to five winners and dam was a winner and full-sister to Group 3 winner Danelissima. Yard very much capable of readying one on debut and she's bred to enjoy this type of test.

Ran plenty green enough on her Kempton debut (1m), doing her best work towards the finish. More than likely that she can show a fair bit more today but she'll need to to take a hand.

Poet's Voice filly, half-sister to six winners including Group 1 winning Presvis. Stamina-laden pedigree but yard's runners often need their debuts.

Street Cry filly out of a Galileo mare, she cost $300,000 as a two-year-old and has a middle-distance pedigree. Too green on debut to do herself justice and she's probably best watched for the time-being.

Cacique filly. half-sister to winners Footbridge and Delong Road. Dam won in Grade 1 company in the States. This looks about as far as she wants and maybe best-watched on debut despite her pedigree.
