Rip Van Winkle half-sister to a number of winners the pick of whom is winning French hurdler Unidentified Thief. Dam was a speedy type but her progeny have all needed further than this and full-brother to this one was moderate at 7f plus.
50,000 gns purchase who showed speed at Chelmsford last time but faces a big step up in class here. Yard have a five year record of 3-44 with juveniles.
Bred to do better over further but acquitted herself well on her debut in similar grade. Stable do well with their juveniles here and she warrants respect.
£190,000 purchase out of a dam who was a speedy juvenile. Holds an entry in the National Stakes but has been routed here instead. Beaten in a three way photo on debut at Ascot ten days ago and that form will be good enough if that race has not left it's mark.
Cost a mere €500 when last attracting a bid at the sales. Dam achieved little on the track and she faces a stiff task on her introduction.
Related to several winners including Gorella (winner of 7 races and over £800,000 in prize money), Porto Santo and Stars Over The Sea. Bought for €150,000 as a yearling and represents a small yard with a 2-26 record in juvenile races. Should handle give in the ground and one to note in the market.
Arabian Gleam filly out of a dam who did not achieve much on the track but was a half-sister to a Group Two winning juvenile. Stable have had a two-year-old winner this term and sire handled soft ground.

A few of the newcomers are bred to handle these conditions with Rue Cambon the standout on pedigree but appealing as the type to need further. Axe Cap comes from a yard that have a few speedy types so a market move would be significant given his half-sister handled soft ground well. It often pays to side with experience at this time of year when conditions are on the easy side and OUT OF THE FLAMES is hard to oppose from a form perspective having gone down in a tight finish on her Ascot debut. She was sent off favourite that day for a contest in which a couple of experienced runners who set a good standard were in mid-division. Her sire's progeny handle cut underfoot and she will be hard to beat having bypassed a tougher engagement at Sandown later in the week to come here. Listen Alexander shaped well on her debut at Ripon. David Evans' filly is bred to want further but her stable do well with this age group here and it would be no surprise to see her goclose.
