Winner on soft ground at Ayr in a maiden event over 6f on his final start of 2016. Had previously finished runner-up over 7f when wearing a hood at that track and the hood returns for his handicap debut here.
Registering his first success when winning on firm ground in a 7f maiden at Salisbury three weeks ago. Disappointed when only fifth on handicap debut over an extended 7f at Chester (good) last time out and looks to have a strong chance dropping in trip for this.
Having his first run sine being gelded when taking a 17 runner 6f handicap at Ripon (good-to-firm) on seasonal debut last month. Races off a 4lb higher mark here and interesting to see how he fares off his revised mark here.
Well held fifth on debut at Newcastle in June and off the mark at the second attempt at Pontefract (good-to-firm) over 6f last month. Had been gelded in the interim and interesting to see how he fares on handicap debut.
Successful in a handicap over 6f at Catterick (good) in July last year. Run well to place twice since being gelded including off this mark when runner-up on seasonal debut over 6f at Pontefract (good-to-firm) earlier this month. This looks tougher though.

BLACK ISLE BOY made a winning return to action at Pontefract last month and he can follow up that success by winning on handicap debut today. The selection raced prominently on that occasion and can get the better of stablemate Musicka who is likely to be tackling better ground than when disappointing last time out while Saint Equiano, a winner at Ayr on soft ground when last seen in action in October can claim third.
