Has taken time to come to hand but appreciated the step up in trip when winning at Nottingham (1m2f, Good to firm) last month and was a decent third off an 8lb higher mark there latest. Raised a further 2lb.
Much-improved when winning successive races at Nottingham and Chelmsford last back-end but has found life tougher off her revised mark, including when down the field at Redcar on her return. Can improve but again looks vulnerable.
Remains a maiden but bits and pieces of form to suggest she is potentially well-treated, most notably when just touched off over 7f at Carlisle (good to soft) last summer. Satisfactory reappearance and step up in trip should suit with tongue tie introduced.
Landed a Wolverhampton maiden on her second start but was firmly put in her place in a Newmarket nursery over 1m1f (good to soft) on her final juvenile start. Still early days and market should guide on her reappearance.
Has yet to really build on a promising debut effort at Newmarket and was well held when making a seasonal/handicap debut over a shorter trip here last month. Longer trip needs to induce improvement.
No impact in maidens as a juvenile but more encouragement on her handicap debut over 1m at Thirsk (good) on her reappearance when a a close-up fifth of 10. Stiffer test here should be ideal, so worth shortlisting.
Twice a runner-up but already looking inconsistent and little encouragement to be gleaned from a disappointing reappearance at Redcar (1m, good to firm). Questions to answer as she steps up in trip.
Struggled at long odds in maidens but offered something to work on when a respectable sixth of 16 on his handicap debut at Redcar (1m, good to firm). Cheekpieces refitted here and the longer trip could unlock improvement. Respected.
Largely unconvincing in his early starts but caught the eye when staying on well to finish third behind Atteq over an extended 7f here (good to firm) last time out. Worth a crack over this longer trip and dangerous to dismiss.
Unfancied and soundly beaten in three maidens last back-end and, though he wasn't entirely disgraced when seventh of 12 over a longer trip at Wolverhampton on his handicap debut, others appear to have more scope.
Forecasts
Canberra Cliffs (11/4), Katebird (5/1), American Craftsman (6/1), He's A Toff (7/1), Miss Bates (8/1), True Romance (17/2), Ode To Glory (11/1), Conistone (14/1), Starlite Sienna (14/1), Size Matters (16/1)
Plenty of guesswork required here with most of the field tackling this trip for the first time. Of those that are, MISS BATES looks most appealing in a first-time tongue tie, having gone close off a higher mark at Carlisle last summer. American Craftsman and True Romance are also interesting, as is Canberra Cliffs who already has some solid form on the board over this distance.
