Sole win came here over C&D in August from a 10lb lower mark. However, wasn't far away at Redcar from just 1lb lower in November in a very similar race. Has been taking on better horses over further in his two starts so far this term, but back over this trip and dropped in class she looks like being very competitive.
Unable to win for Richard Guest but then scored on his first two starts for this trainer (both 7f) in the autumn, both on the All Weather. 3lb higher than the best of those today and dropped in trip, his turf form suggests that he would prefer it good or slower to be seen to best effect.
Won this last year at 20/1 from a 3lb lower mark (good) when drawn two of 15 and came back to score again over C&D from today's mark in September (good to firm), when drawn much better in 13 (both under today's pilot). Down the middle today, but clearly very much at home here and likely to be a leading contender.
2lb lower going into this than when scoring at Ayr in July (5f, good to soft) and has never won beyond the minimum trip, despite plenty of attempts. Decent mark and draw, but others may last it out home just a little better.
0-13 and has made the frame just twice. Perhaps not a negative as that sounds, however, considering that those two runs have been from his last three starts, including when a neck behind at Catterick last time (5f, good to firm) from 3lb lower. Rise in the weights not ideal but has stands rail draw and could be a player.
Won a slightly weaker race than this over C&D last month from 5lb lower and runner-up franked that form with a decent effort at Ayr earlier in the week. Can't completely rule him out from stepping up, but percentage call on his turf form is that winning from this mark is beyond his capabilities.
Not as good as he once was, with all nine of his wins having come from higher marks, the last of them from 18lb higher in October 2015. 0-17 since then and has rarely got competitive. Given all that and the fact that his record when fresh is poor, he looks best watched on this reappearance despite plumb draw.
5lb better off for 2¾L with Kyllach Me, whom he succumbed to when sent off favourite here over C&D last month. Has so far been held up in his races, which can cause obvious concern in big fields like this, but improvement entirely possible and not ruled out.
2-39 and sole handicap success was over 7f at Newcastle in September from 1lb higher, while sole turf win was three years ago on good ground. Same mark here as when a 1½L runner-up over 7f (good) here last time and should be very competitive from a good draw with drop in trip probably fine.
Yet to make the frame from 11 starts on turf, his sole win being at Wolverhampton in February from 5lb lower (6f). Also went close from just 2lb lower back over that C&D in March. Lack of form on the green stuff has to be a concern, but drawn well enough and not ruled out back over this trip.
Both turf wins have been on soft ground, so likely to need a fair bit of rain to help his cause. Back on same mark as when last scoring at Catterick in October (5f) and has won over this trip several times. Ran well when fresh over 5f here last year when 1L behind Perfect Words and is now 6lb better off with that opponent. Needs some rain.
Yet to make the frame from 15 starts on turf, his three wins all being on the All Weather from 7f-1m1½f. Goes into this on the same mark as his most recent success (Feb 2016) but despite recent pipe-opener, good draw and first-time headgear it takes a leap of faith to seeing him being good enough today.
5lb better off here with Kyllach Me, who beat him 1¾L over C&D last month (good to firm). Sent off favourite on the strength of that and good recent form of yard when just run out of second place at Ayr on Monday. Clearly in good form and showed he could handle moderate draw here last time, so looks a contender from same mark.
Usually competitive from marks in the mid-40s and won for the only time off 47 at Newcastle (5f) in September. Yet to show that he is capable of doing the business from higher marks than that and that was underlined when comfortably held on his reappearance. Best watched unless market vibes strong.
16-race maiden who has returned home with some prize money just once. Has gone reasonably well in defeat in her last two starts, including when 2½L adrift of Kyllach Me last month (same terms today), though again likely to find a few too good.
Has won on fast ground, but usually reserves his best for days when there is some cut in the ground. 6lb lower today than when last winning at Ayr over this trip in July and well behind a few of these here last time. Hard to fancy unless significant rain.
0-17 career profile and both times she has made the frame were on Lingfield's Polytrack last year. Slide of 10lb in the weights has so far failed to see her get competitive in handicaps and others preferred.
Yet to trouble the judge in 13 attempts and has not threatened to win at trips from 5f-7f. Stable in decent form but still takes a leap of faith to see her suddenly produce the goods from a mark that she has already been comfortably beaten from.

If the ground does turn out to be slower than forecast, then Ruth Carr's pair Whipphound and Hab Reeh would be interesting propositions for this, but as things stand it might be too quick for them to show their best. There are several others with claims though, including last year's winner Gaelic Wizard, stablemate Cool Strutter and the Noel Wilson pairing of Our Place In Loule and Lackaday. The Armed Man is another in good nick and drawn well, while Young Tiger looks a danger if he gets the breaks and Pick Of Any is not ruled out. However, the suggestion is SOMEONE EXCITING, who has been taking on better opposition over further, but who should enjoy a slight drop in grade and his rider's allowance will do no harm.
