Running to a good level on last two starts, coming back off a break to win at Chelmsford in February and then following that with another solid effort on A/W Finals day here. Won this last year although it looks a slightly deeper race this year. First time blinkers today, may well help and can hit the frame.

Form tailed off towards the end of last season but came back with a very promising effort over a trip too short at Doncaster in April, and this step back up to 7f will suit. Good pace will help her cause and another with place chances. Acts on most ground.

Had a good season last year (often in the face of stiff tasks) and right back to her best when a winner on her seasonal debut at Newmarket recently. Form of that got a boost when second won next time out, and as long as the ground doesn't get soft, holds place chances at worst.

Winner of a few small events in the French provinces and improved when taking a Listed event at Fontainebleau in November, but even best form needs improving on if she's to challenge here. Plenty on her plate.

Came good early last year, winning her first two and did nothing but progress throughout the year. May not want the ground to turn soft, and another furlong is probably ideal, but chance is respected all the same.

Winner of the Group 1 Coronation Stakes and Prix Rothschild last year but below her best in the Matron Stakes on her final start, a slow start and the pulling a bit too hard not helping her chances. Holds a clear class advantage over this field and although a mile her optimum trip, may get away with 7f here.

Seems happier at 7f than other trips, so has that in her favour today, and came back to form with a hard-fought win at Lingfield on her latest start. Capable at this level and as long as the ground doesn't get soft, should run her race again.

Has some form in France but at a lower level than is required to get involved today, and on all evidence looks outclassed. Makes no appeal.

Has got a bit of form at Listed/Group 3 level, notably a close up third in the 2016 Nell Gwyn at Newmarket but hasn't really progressed from that. Not a hopeless case, but does need to find a chunk of improvement from somewhere today.

Suited by the trip and has won at Lingfield, so not all bad news, but on all we know looks outclassed, with her progression having seemingly stalled for the time being.

Winner of the latter of her two starts last year, winning a Haydock maiden in October but thrown in at the deep end here. Plenty of speed in the pedigree and no saying this trip will suit either. Lots to find, despite getting some weight.

Forecasts

Qemah (1/1), Mix And Mingle (9/2), Pirouette (8/1), Realtra (8/1), Ashadihan (10/1), Eartha Kitt (16/1), Blue Bayou (20/1), Robanne (25/1), Narnia Dawn (33/1), Summer Icon (40/1), Rien Que Pour Toi (66/1)

15:40 Lingfield - 13 May 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

QEMAH danced plenty of the big dances last year and holds a class advantage over the majority of this field. She should be up to winning this en route to better things later in the season. Mix And Mingle is a likeable filly that should run her race and get in the frame. Last year's winner Ashadian and Blue Bayou are others for each-way punters to consider.
  1. Qemah
  2. Mix And Mingle
  3. Blue Bayou
