Promising juvenile campaign last term saw him twice scoring over 5f, most recently at Navan off a mark of 94 in September. Talented sort, tough ask conceding weight all round on return to action.

Not disgraced in Group or Listed company last year but not won since winning his maiden at Leopardstown. Every chance he'll improve from last month's Navan reappearance over this trip and useful 7lb claim isn't to be underestimated. One of two for the yard here.

Represents Ballydoyle having switched from David Wachman last season, absolutely hosed up in a maiden at Naas over 6f on seasonal/stable bow and since run fine race in Listed company at Navan. With the yard flying, he's got clear potential in this.

Two victories to date have come on the AW at Dundalk, including over 7f in four-runner contest in March. Wasn't disgraced in Group 3 company last summer on turf and booking of Smullen here is noted.

Won a 7f Cork maiden a week ago in the style of an improving colt, this son of New Approach has the potential to do much better and is greatly respected on handicap bow sporting usual tongue-tie.

Filly landed her maiden over C&D in September and ran a fine race over this trip at Cork last week in a handicap on good-to-firm sporting first-time cheekpieces (retained here). Just 1lb higher now, has claims as one of two for the yard.

Filly showed some good potential in three starts last year and may be one to do better this term. Not an easy starting place but yard is in red-hot form (39 per-cent strike rate with previous 18 runners) and one to be monitored in the betting.

Looked promising on the AW over the winter, recording a Dundalk double over 5f/6f either side of New Year. Was behind Art Nouvelle on turf debut at Limerick recently when fourth of five over 7f. Drops in trip now and may be capable of better.

Son of Fastnet Rock started well a year ago but has rather lost his way since leaving Ballydoyle to join this yard, poor effort on reappearance at Leopardstown last month over 7f and has something to prove in first-time blinkers as a result. One of two for trainer in this.

One win from 11 starts came in a 5f Cork maiden last June, she was well beaten in a fillies' handicap over 6f at that venue a week ago and while 3lb lower for this, appears to have plenty on her plate.

Is rated just 2lb higher than when taking C&D handicap in August, showed good attitude when winning over 5f on the AW at Dundalk last month and so comes here in good heart with fair claims. Looks leading player out of two for stable in this.

Unable to get off the mark in five outings in maidens, though has run well on occasions. Below best on reappearance over 7f at Limerick last month.

Solid efforts in maidens last year and was right on the money in handicap bow over 7f at Leopardstown in October, this looks a tough enough assignment on reappearance.

Maiden winner over this trip at Navan last year, well beaten on handicap bow / seasonal reappearance in 7f Limerick contest 13 days ago on good-to-firm and needs to improve to have a big say here.

A challenging puzzle to solve, with plenty holding claims, but there was a lot to like in the way TREATY OF VIENNA won a Cork maiden last week, quickly moving clear in the style of an improving young horse. He hasn't been dealt out of this by the handicapper and with more improvement very probable on just his fourth start he has a good chance to score again. Top-weight Callender is respected though there would be easier scenarios for his opening race of the year while Alphabet is a very lively threat for the in-form Ballydoyle team. Alfredo Arcano should find this trip more to his liking on second turf start while money for Solar Halo would be noted given his trainer's recent run. Swish and Red Sabor are others that are capable of having a say.
  1. Treaty Of Vienna
  2. Alphabet
  3. Alfredo Arcano
