A €65,000 colt out of Holy Roman Emperor, he has a strong pedigree and represents trainer operating a strike rate in excess of 27 per-cent in the early stages of his first season with a license.

Horse silk
10/1
Bated Breath colt changed hands for €55,000 as a yearling and has plenty potential coming to the track for the first time. Leading jumps trainer doesn't have a bad record in this sphere, though has been quiet so far this term.

Well beaten in a 6f maiden at Navan last month on second start, first on turf, that was on good ground and needs to improve to get involved here.

A €42,000 yearling this Lethal Force colt is well related to plenty winners and merits respect on first outing, especially if gaining any support in the market for trainer that had 20 per-cent strike rate with 2yos last year.

Horse silk
25/1
Well beaten last month in 6f maiden at Navan having been sent off 66/1, likely can improve somewhat on that effort.

Red Jazz colt makes racecourse debut in this, notable jockey booking though yard don't tend to excel with 2yos.

Horse silk

Holy Roman Emperor filly fetched €42,000 as a yearling and is one to pay attention to debut for a yard that having been flying of late.

50/1
Arakan gelding represents a small yard without much success of late and is likely to be carrying limited expectations in this.

Horse silk

Haatef gelding was an inexpensive purchase and doesn't make immediate appeal on paper for this debut run, though trainer is going along very nicely.

Excellent debut run over 5f at Naas in March on testing ground when third of 11 runners behind market principles. Entitled to improve on that over this longer trip.

Filly made a decent start over 6f at Naas on the first of the month for in-form trainer. Should improve on that 6¾L defeat and no trouble handling forecast ground.

66/1
Dandy man filly cost €16,000 as a yearling, she found 5f a bit sharp at Naas on recent debut and is probably best watched again despite the extra furlong on offer.

Horse silk
66/1
An inexpensive purchase, she failed to beat a rival home on debut last week at Cork over 5f on good-to-firm ground. Needs sizeable improvement to get competitive stepped up in trip.

Horse silk
20/1
Lawman filly is a half-sister to three winners at up to 7f, trainer is in decent form of late and she gets a useful 7lb claimer on top for this debut run.

Horse silk
20/1
Casamento filly was not an expensive purchase and is the second of two runners in this line-up for in-form Harrington team. Respected and will be noted in the betting.

Horse silk
6/1
Filly was fourth on debut at Navan over this trip recently, has clear potential to build on that effort out of a top yard - though perhaps some concern that trainer opts for claimer here.

14:10 Curragh - 13 May 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Yulong Gold Fairy made a decent fist of things on her recent debut at Navan and should come on for it and be competitive now. Ballot Box also made a decent start last time and can come forward on it. Commander Grigio, Would Be King and Outside Inside are newcomers that should be given plenty attention but this might go to VERHOYEN, whose Naas debut in March also gains plenty respect coming into this contest over an extra furlong and he should have more to offer after the experience.
  1. Verhoyen
  2. Ballot Box
  3. Yulong Gold Fairy
