His best effort for quite some which coincided with the good start to the season his yard are having when winning on his seasonal debut over 7f at Catterick (first time he has won first time out). Showed a good resolve to catch the front-running Fine Example (winner since) and without a penalty he's 5lb well-in at the weights here. Track should suit although he has been in both previous visits here.

Stable are a little quiet at the moment and he doesn't look in the best of form at the moment. Finished off last season poorly and was far too free on his return on the AW at Newcastle after his winter break. Can often look a difficult ride and gets behind which isn't an easy impost to overcome around here.

Took an age to win a race but finally managed that feat when scoring in March at Chelmsford over 7f helped by being dropped a long way in the weights and a first-time visor. Has run well since twice in stronger contests (runner-up both times) off a 6lb higher mark both over 7f on the AW doing well the second time after being up with a strong pace all the way. Question is now can she transfer that improved form back onto turf where she is 0/14.

Still to win a race (has had chances) and with the yard in a rather quiet spell at the moment you have to stretch the imagination to see her scoring here. Pulled too hard when running creditably last time out at Wolverhampton on the AW but others still preferred even off this lowly mark.

If the stable can find the key to him then they have an incredibly well weighted horse to work with. Rated as high as 70 at the start of 2016 he's now down to a mark of 48 with the blinkers on for the first time and well drawn here if he can get a decent position early on.

Not much quality in this finale to the card and the chances are that TANAWAR is going to be good enough to follow-up his Catterick win especially as he goes unpenalised here. Isntshesomething has been in good form but does have questions to answer moving back onto turf although there isn’t much depth in this. Harbour Patrol is so well handicapped now that he must pick up a race at some point as it looks as though some ability remains. If the Dalgleish yard were in better form his duo of New Abbey Angel and Little Belter would be of interest but they do appear to be rather quiet at the moment.
