50/1
Vocalised gelding whose dam was a maiden but was a half-sister to a Listed placed horse. The fact he's been gelded and not seen until this age can be taken as a negative and he's likely to struggle for a yard without a winner in recent time.

7/2
Distant third on debut but respectable effort nonetheless. Disappointing on comeback run at Leopardstown last time and drop back in trip isn't sure to suit but he still holds an Irish 2,000 Guineas entry along with Dante and Derby entries and he should come on for his recent run.

Horse silk
66/1
Dark Angel gelding whose dam placed in Listed company. Struggled on debut at Limerick when too green in the early stages and yard have been quiet recently so probably best watched once again.
Art Connoisseur gelding who may find this a little sharp on debut but dam had some stamina on her side of the pedigree. Trainer has had a quiet start to the year and probably best watched with a 10lb claimer in the saddle.

Age: 3|  Weight: 9-5| J: C R King| T: A Mullins
50/1
Sinndar gelding who only showed a glimpse of ability at Naas on debut and proved very disappointing at Cork when last of 18. Has to improve to be a factor here and likely to want further than this test.

Horse silk
50/1
Choiser gelding who cost £32,000 as a yearling. May find this too tougher test of stamina on debut and wide draw isn't ideal.

Mirror Man
Age: 3|  Weight: 9-5| J: S Foley| T: M Halford
14/1
Bernardini colt with a nice American pedigree but will proably want further than this and unlikely to want the rain that's forecast. Nice type but best watched on debut.

Nimitz172
Age: 3|  Weight: 9-5| J: Declan McDonogh| T: C O'Brien
33/1
Well beaten at the Curragh on debut but imroved to finish fifth of 14 at Dundalk in November. Not been seen since and may need this run while yard have been a little quiet so far this season.

Horse silk
33/1
Teofilo gelding, cost 60,000 gns as a yearling. Related to plenty of winners including the speedy Group 2 winning Conquest. Trainer can ready one for a debut so any market support should be noted but the fact he's already gelded perhaps not the best sign and he has a wide draw to overcome.

Time Deet1184
Age: 3|  Weight: 9-5| J: C O'Donoghue| T: P D Deegan
10/1
Recovered well on debut after a slow start to finish fourth at Dundalk. Will have learned plenty from that experience and tongue-tie applied for the first time could bring out improvement. Respected despite a wide draw with an in-form jockey booked.

Horse silk
6/1
Went well on debut at the Curragh last year and yard have turned the corner in the past couple of weeks. First-time tongue-tie could also help bring about improvement and step up in trip likely to suit; leading claims.

Horse silk
Yarraman221
Age: 3|  Weight: 9-5| J: M C Hussey| T: P J Flynn
100/1
Well beaten on both starts last year and has been dealt a tough draw to deal with; likely to do better when tackling handicaps

Bumbasina252
Age: 3|  Weight: 9-0| J: W J Lee| T: W McCreery
5/1
Canford Cliffs filly who showed some promise on debut at the Curragh. Will enjoy stronger tests of stamina than this down the line but not dismissed with improvement likely.
14

Horse silk
25/1
Shamardal filly bought for just €6,000 earlier this year. That may tell it's own story and yard have been out of form in both codes of late.

Horse silk
Frima
Age: 3|  Weight: 9-0| J: P J Smullen| T: D K Weld
15/8
Frankel filly, half-sister to Group 3 winner Jetaway, dam was unraced but sister to a Listed winner. Trip should suit fine on debut and is the pick of the stable jockey so plenty to like from a workable draw.

Horse silk
33/1
Teofilo filly that may want a little further than this and she showed very little on debut. Would need to improve markedly.

Forecasts

Frima (15/8), Auckland (7/2), Bumbasina (5/1), Treaty Of Vienna (6/1), Time Dee (10/1), Mirror Man (14/1), Conversely (25/1), Lamh Ar Lamh (33/1), Nimitz (33/1), Reimagine (33/1), Jamington (50/1), Erquy (50/1), Templemary Boy (50/1), Cut The Deck (50/1), Billyfairplay (66/1), Yarraman (100/1)

14:05 Gowran Park - 30 April 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

FRIMA is a well-bred sort and she could be up to winning on debut. Jim Bolger's yard have turned the corner in recent weeks and Treaty of Vienna looks the most likely winner of his runners after a promising debut. Time Dee was another who showed ability on his sole outing to date and should go well.
  1. Frima
  2. Treaty Of Vienna
