Former Godolphin charge who won a handicap hurdle before he won a novices' contest, the latter being at Stratford earlier this month. That induced a hike up the weights, which accounted for him last time at Plumpton. Back against novices here and has decent claims.
Yet to win a novices' contest, but has landed a handicap at Towcester from a mark of 108. Been unable to make an impact in that sphere since a subsequent rise in the weights and comfortably held in this company at Ffos Las last time. Even so, in receipt of weight he can't be ruled out.
Well beaten on all four starts on the level for Polly Gundry and now races for new yard for first time. Related to point-to-point winners, though not rules success and a watching brief looks best.

Forecasts
Excellent Team (2/5), Peruvien Bleu (2/1), Protest (5/1), Luca Brazi (33/1), Dance With Kate (66/1)
Protest is interesting now he has joined the Dan Skelton team, but the same trainer holds the aces here with EXCELLENT TEAM, who has very solid claims of defying a penalty. Peruvian Bleu is the obvious danger.
