Switched to the Flat following two encouraging runs in bumpers and showed just as little when making his first appearance in this code in a Kempton maiden last month. Will need to show much more here and is probably one of the least likely to improve in the field.

Made his racecourse debut in August 2015 but has only had one start since then (last month), so has clearly had his problems. He has run okay on both of those previous starts without particularly impressing, and he will need to show he's much better with the benefit of the run to get involved here.

Has only had two races so far, one as a juvenile and a second at three. Shaped encouragingly on debut when finishing second but couldn't replicate that performance over further at Epsom last April when he finished tailed off and eased down. Much more needed here.

Wasn't particularly impressive on debut at Ascot in September (7f, good to firm). Like many of these he steps up markedly in trip here, but didn't give much encouragement that he would show the necessary improvement for the longer distance. Best watched in this company.

Dubawi half-brother to Irish Oaks fourth Laughing Lashes who wears blinkers for his first racecourse appearance. Trainer is currently in fine form and he has to be feared on debut.

Looked an uncertain stayer when upped to this trip for his second racecourse appearance last time out, despite having stayed on strongly over a mile on his debut. May be lacking in the ability needed to win a competitive maiden such as this.

Only narrowly beaten on debut at Kempton over 7f when only getting involved at the end of the race in the style of a horse who should improve for this step up in trip. Has been gelded since and has leading claims for some top connections.

Dragon Pulse gelding who makes his debut for a trainer who doesn't have a bad record with juveniles despite running a smaller operation. His sire has shown he can produce first time out winners, and he's worth a second look in the market.

Ran a nice race on debut at Kempton over a mile earlier in the month, when shaping as if a step up in trip would suit. Improvement will be needed in this more competitive heat, but there should be more to come from him.

Galileo colt who makes his debut in a race that should suit him well based on pedigree. Has the services of a top jockey for his first run and is more than worth a check in the market.

Has given the impression that this trip would suit him much better than the shorter distances he's raced over so far, especially based on pedigree given he's by Dubawi out of a Barathea mare. Interesting on that basis.

Only narrowly beaten into second over this trip on the Lingfield Polytrack on debut before disappointing as odds-on favourite over the same C&D next time. It will be interesting to see how he does now switched to the turf.

Slightly disappointing when beaten into fourth at the Lincoln meeting having been sent off joint-favourite in a race over a similar trip to this. He ran green that day though and could make amends here if showing he has learnt from that experience.

Well beaten on debut at Newmarket towards the end of last season, and will need to show something else here in order to get involved.

The one who appeals most is NEXT CHALLENGE. Having made his debut at Kempton in October over 7f he looks like a horse who will relish today's step up in trip having only got going late on that first racecourse appearance. He has also been gelded since and goes for Saeed Bin Suroor, who has been in good form recently. Also having a good start to the season is Bin Suroor's Godolphin colleague Charlie Appleby, and his charge Janzsoon has the pedigree to make a bold bid on debut, while Ply was another eye-catching Kempton debutant who could improve to get competitive here.
