Wall Of Fame Handicap

Not well drawn for a front-runner on the wide outside and being kept busy on the AW of late where he has a far superior strike rate. Runs off his much lower turf mark here but just not as good in this sphere and others are preferred.

Only won one race but that victory did come over C&D off a 4lb lower mark when in a run of good form last year. Still looks as though he is capable of winning off this mark and with the stable in good form he's one for the shortlist here.

Fell in the weights last year and the slip into 0-70 company saw him score over C&D off a mark of 69 and back off that mark here and with an inside draw he may well be of interest. All his best form has come over 5f and his last winning rider takes the ride for the first time since.

Placed a couple of times over C&D he finally broke his maiden over the sharp 5f at Musselburgh about a year ago. Looked to have returned in decent form at Southwell after a break on his latest start (travelled well) although marks this high have proved beyond him before and the wide draw won't help here.

Was in fair form last year winning at Carlisle twice over 5f so he should enjoy the similar stiff finish here. Blew his chance with a very slow start on his return last time out and can't afford any mistakes like that here.

Very much appreciated the return to sprinting with a tongue-tie added to his usual hood when getting off the mark mast year off a mark of 60 over 6f at Redcar. Never seen after that until a good reappearance on the AW in March over 6f and he's followed that up with two solid runs since both over 6f the last one coming back on turf. Looks in good heart at the moment but a long time since he's run over 5f and his usual hood is left off again here.

Made a reasonable return from a long break at Nottingham recently but is a on a long losing run and may find a few too good here again.

Both wins last year came at Thirsk over 6f and may find this 5f a little on the sharp side. Not disgraced on his recent return to action but may find one or two better suited to this trip.

Has shown some consistent form on the AW in the early part of the year without winning. Back on turf last time out off a higher mark in that sphere he travelled well to finish fifth just not being able to quicken in the closing stages. Usually comes from off the pace and this may setup well for him.

Not the easiest ride and can look a little temperamental although he did manage to won on the AW at the end of last year off a 3lb lower mark. Failed to improve on his second run of the year last time out (bit keen) and could do with a strong pace to run at here.

Not getting any younger but still managed five wins last year the first coming over C&D in this very race off a 6lb higher mark. Conditions will be very different this year (race was run in heavy last year) and due to his slow/sluggish starts he always needs a strongly run race to be seen at his best.
