Winner on reappearance at Windsor a fortnight ago, just as he did last season, more in hand than the half-length winning margin suggested then and can make a bold off 7lb higher mark with Crowley booked,
Record on the AW is much less encouraging than on turf, and was below best on final start of last season at Newmarket, interesting to see how the market judges on return.
Been second on all three starts to date, each coming at Chelmsford. Step up in trip now for reappearance here and is likely to be in the mix again if stamina poses no problem.
Twice a winner on turf from nine attempts, record on AW is less appealing having disappointed on two prior trips to this venue. Would prefer to see improved work on Polytrack before supporting.
Commendable performer on AW, has been running his races of late though some doubts persist over his desire for a trip as long as thing one.
Ran a sound race at Doncaster on the first of this month, finishing 3L fourth of 20. Races off the same mark now and entitled to be competitive though has not won on the Flat since 2013.
Most recent win came on turf at Hamilton over extended mile, yet to score beyond that and was not in great form when last spotted in August running off this mark.

A lot of these have questions over them but that cannot be said of Captain Peacock who won a shade cosily at Windsor on his reappearance. He makes plenty appeal here despite a 7lb hike but is likely go off at prohibitive odds. Take Two is an alternative on his recent Doncaster effort having escaped penalty for what was an encouraging reappearance in big field. A chance is taken on WEALTH TAX, runner up on all three career starts to date but now trying this longer trip for the first time with a decent chance of getting off the mark.
