His second to easy winner Two Taffs at Carlisle last October stands out like a beacon among the rest of his moderate form, and he's looked very one paced on more than one occasion this season. Step back up in trip may help but a bit to prove now.
Winner of a point-to-point two years ago but only seen twice since. Far from disgraced in two bumpers behind some decent sorts and not beaten far when last seen, and may run a little better than likely big odds would suggest if jumping fluently on hurdles debut here.
A poor effort at Hereford last time out could be put down to the soft ground there, which isn't to everyone's liking, and on his previous efforts at Ludlow he can be given a solid chance. Should stay this trip and suspicion is there's more to come back on better ground.
Was running to a consistent level in novice hurdles and chases when last seen, and his fourth tio Winterlude here at Bangor last July reads well enough in the context of this moderate race. Stays this far and if fit after a break, should be in the mix.
In good hands but simply didn't show enough at Huntingdon on her debut, with her jumping technique leaving plenty to be desired as well. Must improve to get involved.
Forecasts
Shanroe In Milan (11/10), Front At The Last (9/4), Work Du Breteau (4/1), Mackie Dee (16/1), Point Of Departure (20/1), Joy's Spirit (20/1)
None of these have the most solid of profiles, but SHANROE IN MILAN has shown enough to think a race of this calibre is within his reach. This trip might well eke out a bit more improvement and he's taken to get the better of Work Du Breteau, who has an absence to overcome and Point Of Departure, who could go well on his hurdles debut in a race that isn't the most taxing.
