Finished runner-up in a maiden race at Redcar over 7f (good-to-firm) in July but well beaten on a softer surface since. Likely to run well upped to 1m on the predicted firm ground.

Slowly away when finishing a well beaten seventh of ten at Lingfield over 1m on debut in November. Yard's horses are running well at present (5/22) but more needed here.
Missed the break and doing his best work late on when finishing third at Kempton over 1m on his debut earlier this month. Interesting to see if he can build on that today.

Improved on Newbury 7f debut when finishing runner-up in a 14 runner 1m contest at the same track last October. Likely to put up a bold show here in first time cheekpieces.

Forecasts

International Law (8/11), Fiendish (9/2), Desert Explorer (11/2), Manton Grange (10/1), Romanor (10/1), Aware (12/1), Geordielad (16/1), Act Swiftly (20/1), Eben Dubai (100/1)

19:30 Bath - 21 April 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

INTERNATIONAL LAW wears cheekpieces for the first time following a solid effort on his second outing in maiden company at Newbury in October. The selection finished behind a highly regarded rival in what looks a good maiden race at the same track prior to that and can get off the mark at the third attempt in this. Fellow three-year-old Desert Explorer missed the break when debuting at Kempton earlier this month and can step up on that by claiming second here while Romanor and Flendish are others to note with both having decent form in maiden company already.
  1. International Law
  2. Desert Explorer
  3. Romanor
